Meta-PokéBase Q&A

Currently the only way to begin searching for pokémon information on this wonderful site is by clicking the search bar and then typing the query. By adding a hotkey such as pressing the '/' character to activate the search bar, users can more efficiently submit queries without having to lift a finger from the keyboard (if on a computer).

This is a common practice for search engine sites such as bing and google, so it totally makes sense for pokemondb to integrate as well. Since the change should be relatively small, I would also be more than willing to contribute it if possible.

This is a good idea, but the site owner is kinda AWOL so if you really want the feature, I'd suggest installing a browser extension that does it. Looked up "slash to search" and found plenty that look good.
That would be tricky because when you're on Pokebase there are 2 search bars on the page
