Well, actually, I was criticizing your grammar and punctuation. I believe the phrase is also "skating on thin ice," not treading. I am indifferent as to whether or not you decide to capitalize letters and in what quantity.

fail what? you never presented me with a task to complete. also, you forgot the vocative comma preceding "mortal." and overall, your sentence would flow a little better if you replaced the comma following "mortal" with either a period or a semicolon.
