My first was in DAs on my shiny only playthrough.
The second was in Brilliant Diamond.
The third was in Alpha Sapphire.

I'm not specifically going for Latias right now, I'm mostly grinding for dynite ore, but I have the path for it saved and I put nest ball latias on my bingo board for this year since I failed to catch the Brilliant Diamond one in a nest ball, and I don't feel like grinding for mysterious shards in brilliant diamond to hunt latias there again, so this was the most convenient option.

To clarify, I have multiple files of Shield and Brilliant Diamond. For my shiny only Shield file, I wasn't intending to get a shiny legend from DAs, I was just catching them to make competitive move sets. By the time I was at latias, I was around odds, so if I was going to get a shiny legend, my options were latias, rayquaza, and zekrom.

too young as in like five and can't read very well/wouldn't understand the pokebase, or too young as in he could totally use the pokebase but doesn't want to press "I confirm that I am over 13 years old and have read the rules" because it wouldn't be true? If it's that, nobody cares if he joins. Let him. Pretty sure that checkbox is only there for legal reasons, just in case :P

Nah, it wouldn't mean anything to me as I didn't get it myself, and I'm already going for my fourth shiny latias
