My Amoonguss counter. He switches in on Amoonguss's Spore and stays awake. He functions much like his evolution, Magmortar, who was formerly known as one of the best Amoonguss counters. Too bad he's RU now. Magmar acts as a surprise factor. His item, that is. Because of his NFE Status, people think he's holding an Eviolite only to get outspeeded by his Scarf. Fire Blast is STAB and usually OHKO'es when unresisted. Focus Blast nails Rock types that resist my STAB while HP Grass covers all his weaknesses. Psychic is just a nice move to have as it provides even more coverage.

Yes great,but it could be improved if the magmar was to hold something that raised it`s accuracy. Like a wide lens.

JCM, I have a few suggestions.
For Sawk, use my new set: Brick Break or Close Combat / Ice Punch or Stone Edge / Substitute / Pain Split.
Amoongus: Hidden Power Rock>Hidden Power Ice. How else would you hit Fire and Ice switch-ins?
Electabuzz>Magmar: Eletabuzz has a pivot STAB move in Volt Switch, one, predictable weakness, and higher Spd. I would use this set: Volt Switch / Hidden Power Grass / Focus Blast / Electroball. The only problem with this moveset is that Ground types must be either hit by Hidden Power Grass or wiped out. But, seeing as you have 3 Pokemon who can kill Ground type, you should have no problem.
