Pokémon Rate My Team

Ok so some may get the relevance of the title but for those who don’t know I'm in love with Halo and I know allot of other users here are as well.
I just was thinking it would be nice to make a rmt with halo resemblance to mark the end of reach and beginning of Halo 4.
I've tested the team and its possibly one of my favourite teams I may have ever made and certainly one of the best.
On the Po ladder I have climbed from 923 (don't ask why I was there lol) to 1233.
I know that is not brilliant but in the 25 battles I played to get there I won 24 (with some ease).
Hopefully I can ladder this team to around 1300 by tomorrow.

I do realise that the team members don’t resemble the 6 Spartans from Reach but i spent ages making the team and replacing members to make it synergise better.
At least the team do have some resemblance.

Noble 6(Genesect) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Download
EVs: 210 SAtk / 44 SDef / 252 Spd
Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
- U-turn
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam

U-turn lets me start the match off with a bang letting me get the upper hand unless the opponent is smart enough to over predict my prediction.
Thunderbolt Hits Politoed though I doubt I would stay in to thunderbolt it when I can predict his switch and set my weather up.
Not a good idea to stay in and Tbolt when a possible Magnezone or Thundurus is coming in.
Flamethrower is nice coverage and stops Scizor in its tracks.
Ice Beam hits lots and more importantly Dragonite.
Ok you may question my ev spread but it gives me 360 SAtk and 238 SDef.
For those who don’t know Dragonite never Invests more than 4 evs in to SDef that gives them 137 speed.
For an Ice Beam to result in an OHKO on Dragonite i need that SAtk boost.
That’s the main reason why i have dropped 10 SAtk for SDef.
But it also is quite helpful for coming in on Scarftoed being able to take a max damage surf and survive after rocks and 2 layers of spikes (3 layers at mid and below damage) which with standard spread I cant do.
I realize that Dragonite would not stay in but in some cases they have no over choice.
That must all seem or sound weird but it works.

Jun (Latios) (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Psyshock
- Hidden Power Fire

Originally I had Rotom-W to take water type attacks better but that made me 4 Pokemon weak to grass with only Gensect to resist it.
But Latios could take grass and water pretty well.
As well as also taking fight helping me close down Breloom and Terrakion.
Conkelduur is also no problem.
Hidden Power Fire takes Scizor on the predicted switch, hoping to take a Dragon attack.
Even then Draco Meteor will hit anything hard even those resisting it.
Surf is nice coverage and hits opposing Tyranitars.
Choice Specs helps me deal maximum damage as my team relies allot on prediction.
At least i can hit anything hard with this set.

Carter (Gliscor) (M) @ Flying Gem
Trait: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Acrobatics

No One really expects this set as its almost never used but to be honest its much more effective.
Once I come in they will usually switch to try turn the tables in there favor but then they will be shocked by a 330 bp acrobatic attack coming there way.
The Sand Veil is very useful as well helping me dodge attacks from Rotom helping me get a swords dance or two up before hitting it hard.
Unfortunately this set means a loss of Def meaning my team has no reliable wall to sponge attacks instead i have to use the synergy of the team.

Kat (Keldeo-R) @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Secret Sword
- Surf
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Aqua Jet
I never realized how powerful this Pokemon was, i had only ever seen it in use on a rain team using specs i assume.
Sure a Specs Surf is going to hurt in rain.
So i tried out its power on a sand team though this time using Life Orb which is very useful because they switch in lets say Gliscor knowing (or at least thinking) I'm going to lock myself into a move like secret sword.
Aqua Jet is priority and mainly filler :D but it does let me finish off very weak Pokemon or more importantly scarf abusers.
Secret Sword is over Focus Blast for reliability and the ability to OHKO Blissey.
Remember Secret Sword works like Psyshock.
Surf is my main attack and will deal massive damage to Pokemon like Scizor.

George (Terrakion) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Rock Slide
- X-Scissor

Does Terrakion really need a massive explanation? Not really but either way I'll explain my choices on him.
Rock Slide is for reliability for late game when i can't afford to use Stone Edge.
I have considered Earthquake but i have that coverage already and i don't see it as needed as Rock Slide.
Close Combat breaks walls even those resisting it and is a great late game finisher nothing can out speed it that is a massive threat excluding Timid Latios with Scarf.
Even the most common Chlorophyll abuser can't out speed me.
X-Scizzor is mainly coverage and hits Pokemon like Celebi incredibly hard.

Emile (Tyranitar) (M) @ Lum Berry
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 64 SAtk / 192 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast
- Crunch
- Ice Beam

So Yeah finally we have the guy that brings the weather.
Standard set just with Lum Berry which is very usefull as the best way to take down a bulky weather setter is by crippling it.
It has saved me the game many times so far.
With this set i have incredible special bulk (HP-404 Def-256 SDef-468) this allows me to sponge special hits from Politoed or a few Hits from an Alakazam or Ninetails HP Fight.
Ice Beam hits Gliscor and Thundurus and Fire Blast is primarily here for taking out Scizor and Ferrothorn.

So Yeah that's the team I look forward to your suggestions.

As soon as I saw an offensive halo reach themed sand team I was just like: http://poptropicalthunder.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/5353-awww-yeah.jpg
Btw, it is Jorge not George ;)
We all know my spelling sucks ;)
Damn non-canon Reach.
Sand Veil is banned in OU now.
So you should swap Gliscor or run Poison Heal.
? Really I thought that was Garchomp only.
Either way I play on Po by their tiers and I'm assuming he's allowed as I'm now at almost 1300.
It normally tells you when something's banned doesn't it?
Either way I don't have a clue.
Smogon banned it. PO didn't.
