Gets me Energy by the handful. 150 HP helps it survive bench damaging attacks. x3 Magmar: http://serebii.net/card/dragonsexalted/020.shtml -WIth 80 HP it can be a decent starting basic. x2 Magmortar: http://serebii.net/card/dragonsexalted/021.shtml -120 HP. A one for 40 that reduces damage I take by 20. And a three for 90. A heavy hitter to be sure, and a very good Fire type. x4 Reshiram: http://serebii.net/card/nextdestinies/021.shtml -With Outrage doing up to 140 damage for two energy and Blue Flare doing 120 damage for three energy, plus 130 HP, this is one hard hitting basic powerhouse. x2 Mewtwo EX: http://serebii.net/card/nextdestinies/054.shtml -While it can't use Psydrive, I don't really care. It still has 170 HP and lacks a weakness to Water. And X Ball hits hard enough. Usually for more than Psydrive. And its colorless.

This is actually a lot faster than having Pignite and a lot less risky as such. x4 Super Rod: http://serebii.net/card/noblevictories/095.shtml -Gets back Energy and Pokemon that were lost in any way. And something needs to prevent this deck from decking itself on turn two.
