Hello! This is my Mono-Ghost team!! (mixed tiers) This is not perfect, (I'm worried about the EVs mostly) but please gimmie a chance and just nicely tell me what went wrong :)
HERE WE GO!!!!!

enter image description here
Gemz (Sableye) @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpD
Timid Nature
- Toxic
- Confuse Ray
- Recover
- Night Shade

Prankster=boss! He can inflict status problems before they even get a look in! Also he can heal before they attack! Night Shade is just so he can attack.

Scorch (Chandelure) @ Life Orb
Trait: Shadow Tag
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Pain Split
- Energy Ball
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

I know what you are thinking: "No Ghost moves? Wtf?" but EVERYONE on my team has one. I needed all these moves in anyway, mostly coverage and coolness.

Hydro (Jellicent) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 172 HP / 252 SpA / 84 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Water Spout
- Scald
- Shadow Ball

Jellicent can use Water Spout to start, which gives it amazing power! She has Scald for when her HP isn't very high, and Ice Beam for coverage. Shadow Ball is just a standard STAB move.

Robo (Golurk) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fire Punch
- Shadow Punch
- ThunderPunch
- Earthquake

SUBSTITUTE! Golurk has come in! Its Iron Fist ability comes in super handy, with three of its moves getting the boost. Fire Punch and Ice Punch are coverage, so Golurk doesn't have to be useless against Ice, Water and Grass. Its other moves are basically just STAB.

enter image description here
Eeks (Rotom) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Def / 76 Spe
Calm Nature
- Volt Switch
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Substitute

This speedy dude is the reason Electric types rock. His Volt Switch and Shadow Ball are STAB, and his HP Ice is coverage. As he is pretty frail, I gave him Substitute to defend him.

Gaspar (Gengar) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Calm Nature
- Perish Song
- Mean Look
- Substitute
- Sludge Bomb

WOOH! GO GENGAR! Use Mean Look and then they can't escape so use Perish Song!! I call it MeanSong! Other moves are for just killin' and hidin'.

There we go!! My Mono-Ghost team!!! Now to the credits:

Guidance: Smogon & Pokemon Database
MeanSong: Fairy Arceus
Tester: Waiting for one!!
Sprite Maker: $tarfire

Thank you and goodnight!

Flamethrower isn't worth it. The power of Fire Blast to Flamethrower is quite noticeable, and Fire Blast doesn't have that bad of accuracy.
Btw, MeanSong isn't that good. The opponent will probably switch into a Poke that will at least 2HKO you. Plus, you have no way of stalling out turns to make it work.
I thought, maybe I could have Gengar under a substitute while he's MeanSonging?
Giratina is Ubers so u can't use it in Monotype. You need some Physichal Attackers, Blissey Destroys this Team, i prefer will o' wisp on sableye. Replace Giratina w/... Golurk? Banette? Idrk
Gengar is WAAAAY too frail for MeanSong, SubDisableGar is better
