Pokémon Rate My Team

I introduce a new FEAR strategy... called Cater-Sweeping. It's a lot more risky than FEAR Ratatta or Aron but if it works, it can take out the whole team. This only works in Anything Goes, due to Leftovers and Focus Sash appearing more than once and Moody for the Smeargles.

Forretress @ Focus Sash
Ability: ???
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 HP
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Toxic Spikes
- Pain Split

Send out Forretress first, set up 1 Stealth Rock, 2 Toxic Spikes and 3 Spikes. If you only get 2 Spikes before dying then that's fine too. If you are still alive after that spam Pain Split until you die. Then send out Smeargle 1 (you must nickname the Smeargles otherwise you'll send out the wrong one)

Smeargle 1 (Smeargle) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Moody
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Ingrain
- Aqua Ring
- Spore
- Baton Pass

Use Spore then Ingrain and Aqua Ring. If they wake up, Spore again. Then Baton Pass your Moody changes to the next Smeargle.

Smeargle 2 (Smeargle) @ Leftovers
Ability: Moody
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Spore
- Cosmic Power
- Protect
- Baton Pass

Use Spore unless they're still asleep if so use Cosmic Power, then use Cosmic Power until they wake up then Spore again repeat until defenses are maxed out, then Minimize 3 times, then Baton Pass to Blaziken.

Blaziken @ Leftovers
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Spd / 128 Def / 128 SDef
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Protect
- Hone Claws
- Substitute
- Baton Pass

Protect, Substitute, Hone Claws, Protect, Substitute if necessary, Hone Claws, repeat until health is low, then Baton Pass to the star...

Caterpie @ Leftovers
Ability: Shield Dust
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd / 2 Def / 2 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bug Bite
- Return
- Protect
- Sting Shot

All stats maxed out except Sp. Atk. Sure, you could use a different Pokémon, but why not Caterpie? It throws the opponent off so much to see a Caterpie killing all their Pokémon so they will make stupid decisions. Also one he kills one guy, Forretress' Spikes/Rocks will pretty much render them useless. There is one way that this could fail: Taunt, which is why you might want to replace Forretress with Sableye with Prankster ad Taunt and make this Doubles. But anyway, it will work most of the time.

Talonflame would wreck this little guy with Gale Wings priority flying moves.
2 (or 3) things. 1. You mention Minimise on Smeargle 2 but it's nowhere in its moveset. 2. Caterpie doesn't get anything other than Snore, Bug Bite, Electroweb, Tackle and String Shot. So no Return or Protect. 3. It's really gimmicky, why waste so much time Baton Passing so many boosts to a Caterpie?
Teams like this are stupid, sorry. As soon as you see them in team preview, you know exactly what it is and how you can counter it.
I was thinking the same thing Fizz, except I didn't say it.

BTW what you call "Cater sweeping" everyone else calls Baton Passing. It's not new and it doesn't resemble a FEAR tactic at all. The only thing similar is that your pokemon are frail.
**typical FEAR Pokemon **
Lv1 *insert LittleCup poke*
EV: non IV: hp:0 speed:0
Endeavor
*insert priority: quick attack extreme speed bullet punch vaccumm wave shadow sneak Aqua jet Mach punch*

That said, you stole this idea from that YouTube guy -_-'
Just copy his... When I baton pass I do
Ninjask@citrus/speed raising berry nature: Jolly evs: 252hp, 252 speed, 4atk moves: sub, protect, agility, baton pass to slow mo-fo Azumarill/Gallade/Lucario/slow tank. Look on this sight for successful baton pass team advice, or find a tank to compliment your pokes and speed pass them. Yeah taunt wrecks this totally, even with a Sableye replacement.  You get the idea but its too gimmicky and predictable. This stuff doesn't surprise people too much.
Ok, what happens when I use my Trick Room Ferrothorn?

+6 252+ Atk Caterpie Return vs. 252 HP / 100 Def Ferrothorn: 79-93 (22.4 - 26.4%) -- 16% chance to 4HKO

+6 252+ Atk Caterpie Bug Bite vs. 252 HP / 100 Def Ferrothorn: 139-165 (39.4 - 46.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

156+ Atk Ferrothorn Iron Head vs. 0 HP / 2 Def Caterpie: 235-277 (101.7 - 119.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Dude, even this utility moveset (From Smogen) could one shot Caterpie

4 Atk Ferrothorn Gyro Ball (118 BP) vs. 0 HP / 2 Def Caterpie: 270-318 (116.8 - 137.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Ferrothorn is an extremely common pokemon, if you can't deal with him, you are in deep trouble. In fact, any Steel type could easily wall Caterpie, only to KO HIM next turn. Just saying ;) +good luck, you're gonna need it
LoL, i forgot the +6 Defence here is the new calculations. Iron Head would 4 shot, Gyro Ball has a very small chance to 3, definitely 4. However, nearly every Ferrothorn has Iron Barbs/Rock Helmet combo, making it a 2 shot kill, if Caterpie attacks on both turns.

if you're going to commit to baton pass chaining, then do it fully with a powerful bulky mon at the end instead of useless caterpie that can't even learn the moves you put on it. if you're trying to build a fun team with weak lc pokemon, then make a team full of lvl 1 arons with endeavor. trying to mesh the two playstyles will faill completely as talonflame just wipes the floor with your caterpie. then you have 5 pokemon that are basically useless.

in any case, if you really are committed to baton pass chaining, you need mental herb on at least one of your smeargles so it doesn't become complete taunt bait, and you need espeon to bounce back roars and taunts as well. otherwise your chain is dead in the water to anyone who has a thundurus, mew, or any pokemon with whirlwind or roar
