Pokémon Rate My Team

I've done some editing to my team and kinda prepared it for VGC. Anything I can possibly do to make it better, please tell me. Note: I have seven pokemon. Choose either staraptor or dragonite / hydreigon (no moveset for hydreigon yet) as I will use one of them.

Lucario @ Lucarionite
Ability: Steadfast -> Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
- Ice Punch

My main physical sweeper. Also favorite pokemon. Its moveset covers a lot of types and some that its weak to. I gave it extreme speed to outspeed scarfers, faster pokemon, +1 priority, and use it when low on health and opponent is faster.

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 128 Def / 128 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Toxic
- Confuse Ray
- Moonlight
- Double Team

Oh my troller. He has made more than 20 people forfeit because of his moveset. I know taunt is a problem, so any moves this guy could use (over confuse ray), that would be great.

Rotom-Wash @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Def / 64 SpD / 128 SpA
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
- Will O Wisp / Protect

My Special Wall / Sweeper. Weakness policy seems weird, but I use it to throw off opponent strategies. Mainly because most grass type moves are special attacks, it can tank them.

Pachirisu @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 Def / 128 SpD / 128 HP
Impish Nature
- Nuzzle
- Follow Me
- Super Fang
- Protect

This is Se Jun Park's pachirisu. I know, but I'm gonna pair it with lucario, in case lucario is a slowpoke compared to the other pokemon.

Arcanine @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Adament Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Extreme Speed
- Close Combat
- Iron Head

A physical "sweeper". This thing wreaks. I've used this thing and it just wreaks. I was considering replacing iron head with wild charge, but I don't know.

Staraptor @ Choice Scarf / Choice Band / Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- U-Turn
- Final Gambit

The item makes this thing close to a speed deoxys or a speedy mega heracross. It decides its fate. Also decides its usage. Any slight edits would be great. Life Orb just doesn't trap me into one move.

Dragonite @ Lum Berry
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Extreme Speed
- Earthquake / Thunder Punch / Fire Punch / Ice Punch
- Dragon Dance

Eventually, physical sweeper. Since it can also tank some hits, I'm finding it pretty useful. I also thought I needed a dragon on my team. Replacing dragonite with a hydreigon is also cool.

Overall, I think my team is pretty decent for VGC, and I think I'll be able to win some battles. Replacing some pokemon is also cool.

Dude don't worry about Mega Luke's speed. Its Plenty fast you need something to setup screens and cover mega lukes weaknesses. Mega Lucario is what i consider hyper offensive. Loves dishing out damage and hates taking it. Do not, and cannot ephasize this enough, USE hydreigon! Its has x4 weakness to fairy plus x2 weakness to ice, fighting, bug, dragon, and im probably forgetting one but it also is one that doesnt like taking damage since it has no reliable recovery. Anyway lets focus on that other pokemon you mentioned Dragonite . That's a good one and a classic. Plus it has access to roost which, if you predict right will reduce its weakness to ice to x2 for 1 turn. And it has a much better movepool than hydreigon. Lemme list some good moves it has access to: Roost(as mentioned before), The Elemental punches(Thunder, Fire, & Ice), Earthquake, Outrage,& Dragon Dance. there are some others but the one's i listed are pretty common and are used frequently.(P.S. Go with a Jolly it has enough offensive prowess already it needs the speed, b.t.w. Nice moveset on Dragonite. Definitely work as a late game sweeper)

Woah woah woah! Don't even think of running final gambit on Staraptor. I dont kno anyone who has run it on Raptor and won, especially with brave bird and a life orb. i would use a Brave Bird Roost combo, allows you to run life orb and recover. I dont mind how you have the Umbreon set up actually looks like a Huge pain in the bum to take out lol. Try taunt lol. They can't taunt you if you taunt them first. Keep Iron Head on Arcanine. If your gunna run Flare blitz i suggest having the move Morning Sun on him. Gives him relaible recovery but its only a suggestion, but don't run life orb, scarf it. and the only pokemon i don't in general is Pachi. If Speed's your problem try a Thundurus incarnate. With it's ability prankster no matter how fast the opponent is if Thundurus uses Thunder wave( Kinda aggrevating when its used on ya) They get paralyzed. plus its fast in general. I think its even faster than pachi. And last tweak i would do is put pain split on rotom wash. Trust me it ticks off a lot, and i mean alot of people. Plus it's its only recovery move. oh and keep Will-o-Wisp. With that moveset It inflicts a lot of pain.

Anyway Good luck and hope this helps. Knock 'em dead kid!

Thanks a lot! Really useful, but could I have a moveset for that thundurus? I'm not the most experienced at using legendaries. Also, adamant nature for lucario?
Actually, Specs Hydreigon is holding its own rather well in VGC 2015, even if Sylveon is everywhere. It has a crazy damage output with Choice Specs, and also has decent bulk and resistances/immunities to most common offensive types. Hydreigon isn't the kind of Pokémon you can just slap on a team, however with the proper support (Fairy slayers and speed control, namely) it can  devastate unprepared teams. Most people actually choose it over Dragonite. But that's just my opinion.

Oh, and Nugget Bridge says the same thing.
A few points:

-Staraptor does Final Gambit just fine :P. It's main role is to come real early and take out whatever seems to be a hassle. But since it does as much damage as the HP it has, EV investments there will make a difference. Last season it made it to the finals of worlds (I think it was seniors).

-Also, Hydreigon adds an undesired fighting weakness. With Conkeldurr getting popular with it's Guts boosted Ice Punch and Drain Punch, it already wrecks half his team. It gets even worse under Trick Room (which btw is a major problem). And if you really do wanna run Hydreigon, it's better as a special sweeper that physical.

- Lastly the team has a Landorus - T weakness, one of the most common pokemon right now.

Just a list of things you prolly didn't consider, try implementing them in or something :)
