Meet the Bro Squad.

Broloom@ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 140 Spe / 116 HP
IVs: 31/31/31/x/31/31
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Spore
- Protect

>The original Bro. I started the team with him, and although I had my doubts as to how he'd perform, he more than impressed me in battle. His Bullet Seed is an invaluable tool, OHKOing numerous threats.

Breloom is never a Pokémon that I just bring to a match. I only bring him when he has a favourable matchup against 3 or 4 opposing team members, and he always pulls through. He's pretty standard, as Bros go. Mach Punch is Technician-boosted STAB priority, which is always good to have. Bullet Seed has come in more than handy in many situations, winning me a few games. Spore is that move that you love to hate. Protect is a must in VGC, letting me scout moves and stay alive when I'm at 1%. Adamant nature is to bulldoze things with my STABs. I confess that I ripped his EV spread from here,, and I have no idea what it does, but I like it.

BroDreigon@ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 108 HP / 132 Def / 12 SDef / 4 Spe
IVs: 31/x/31/31/31/31
Modest Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Protect

>The only Bro other than Broloom who's from the original team concept. He is actually my least-used member and honestly hasn't been that useful. But Bros don't give up on Bros.

Hydreigon is the only other surviving member of the concept team. He originally had Earth Power, but once Heatran hopped on board I switched to Fire Blast. Draco Meteor is a nice nuke, but since I don't lead with him too often, I find the Sp. Attack drop annoying. Dark Pulse is STAB and lets me kill Gengar. That's really the only thing keeping him here. Fire Blast is general covarage and hits Amoongus. Protect is mandatory. Modest nature hits as hard as possible. The EVs allow me to survive Breloom's Mach Punch. Mamoswine 2HKOs with Icicle Crash and 3HKOs with Ice Shard. I chose Life Orb over Choice Specs because I wanted to be able to switch between attacks and use Protect.

enter image description here
Metabro@ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
IVs: 31/31/31/x/31/31
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Zen Headbutt
- Protect
- Ice Punch

>The only Mega on the team. Bulkier than Mawile, he offers valuable priority and a check to the Genies. He loves luring Fire attacks for Brotron.

I decided to go mono-Mega so that I could have 100% versatility when picking Pokémon. I originally had Mawile, but I liked the priority and speed of Metagross. I took inspiration from this report for the set. Bullet Punch over Iron Head so that I'm not hampered by Speed control. Zen Headbutt lets me threaten Rotom-W, Terrakion and the like. Protect lets me get the Speed increase and dodge Heat Wave. The final slot was between Hammer Arm and Ice Punch, but Ice Punch was chosen since I had few other ways of dealing with the Genies. I experimented with custom EVs, but decided "screw it" and went with a 252 spread. He's already bulky enough to survive most Earthquakes.

image
Talonbro@ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 132 HP / 156 Atk / 84 Def / 4 SDef / 132 Spe
IVs: 31/31/31x/31/31
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Tailwind
- Will-o-Wisp
- Quick Guard Taunt

Talonbro's job is to support his slower teammates like Broloom and Azumabro. His Will-o-Wisps are an invaluable asset against Landorus-T, Metagross and the like.

Rather than all-out attacking Talonflame, I chose support. Talonbro is the replacement of Zapdos as the team's Tailwinder. Brave Bird is my only attack, but it's a good one. Tailwind is his sole purpose. If he survives, his next job is to Will-o-Wisp opposing physical attackers. Quick Guard just sorta came with the job, but I haven't had to use it yet. I might switch to Taunt. I honestly have no memory of where I got the EV spread and I'm looking for a new one. Sitrus Berry is experimental, I am also considering Sharp Beak and Leftovers.

EDIT: I changed Quick Guard to Taunt. It lets me shut down Follow Me/Rage Powder shenanigans, Substitute Aegislash, etc.

image
Azumabro@ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 20 Def / 32 SDef / 196 HP / 8 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Play Rough
- Superpower

>This is my favorite Bro. He eats Thunderbolts for breakfast. I like leading with him and Metabro for double priority, and he covers his Fire weakness. True Bros stick together.

My Mawile replacement and bulky Water. It was between him and Rotom-W, but Azumarill won due to Fairy STAB. Aqua Jet is good priority, while Waterfall hits harder but slower. Play Rough is an all-around good move. I have not yet use Superpower in battle, so I am also considering Knock Off to slow down Scarfed Landorus. The EV spread lets him survive Double-Edge from Jolly Mega Salamence, as well as speed creep Mega Mawile and make him all-around bulkier. I chose Assault Vest over Belly Drum because BD Azu requires too much support. He is commonly paired with Raichu, and I thought that if I were to have both I might as well just use Rotom-W and another Fairy. I also like the dependability of AV Azu.

image
Brotran@ Shuca Berry
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 196 HP / 60 SDef
IVs: 31/7/19/31/31/31
Modest Nature
- Heat Wave
- Flash Cannon
- Earth Power
- Protect

>I caught Brotran in Bromega Ruby before I knew I would need perfect IVs on him. I was relieved when I found that he had 4 perfect IVs and a decent Defence IV. He's my lucky Bro.

The final Bro is Brotran. He fulfills many different roles. Sometimes he acts as my lead, as his excellent coverage comes in handy, but I usually bring him in the back of matches with Metabro, since he can switch into things like Hydreigon's Fire blast and Charizard's Heat Wave to get the Flash Fire boost. Heat Wave is spread STAB. Flash Cannon lets me deal with Fairies and Mamoswine. Earth Power is for opposing Fire- and Electric- types. Protect lets me dodge attacks. Thanks to Scilicet for suggesting Shuca Berry, it lets me survive Earthquakes from Landorus-T, Mamoswine and Mega Garchomp. The EVs allow me to have fully operational special attacks and survive Specs Sylveon HP Ground.

Talonflame and Azur look pretty solid though I'd change Wil-o-Wisp out for Wil-o-Bro on Talon. Hope this helps!
By the way, Bro Orb is a palindrome of itself. Besides our beloved bro, it shares this distinction with Alomomola, Eevee, Girafarig, Ho-Oh and their bro counterpart: Brolmomolorb, Breeveerb, Brofaforb and Bro-Orb (k, the Girafarig is retarded but hey, Girafarig is retarded itself so not much of a problem :P)
A bro team without slowbro?????
Slowbro's a no-bro for this team.
Dude, this is just like my Emerald run. The main character was Bro, and he roamed Hoenn with Brozilla the Sceptile, GoWitDaBro the Swellow, Not a Bro the (female) Gardevoir, Bromine the Aggron, Da Gud Bro the Minun, and lel the Shedinja.
Yo, I found out some flaws:

204+ SpA Choice Specs Hydreigon Dark Pulse vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Mega Metagross: 194-230 (125.1 - 148.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Technician Breloom Mach Punch vs. 104 HP / 0 Def Hydreigon: 126-150 (70 - 83.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Specs Hydra is still a pain for your team. Unless you are able to take him out early he isn't a threat. Specs Hydra combined with an Amoonguss puts you away as a sitting duck so you might wanna fix that.
I've encountered SpecsDreigon + Amoongus once before and was able to play around it. I lead with Metagross and Breloom. Meta Protected a Dark Pulse and Spore, and Breloom Spored Hydreigon.  Breloom switched to Heatran, and Amoongus was hit by a redirected Ice Punch. Heat Wave finished Amoongus and Ice Punch KOd Hydreigon next turn.

Talonflame can also Taunt + BB Amoongus to render it useless, and once he's gone Gastrodon can tank hits all day.

Needless to say, I think I can handle the two. Thanks for pointing it out, though.
Brotad would be proud........or jealous

It's about time this gets rated. Such a good rmt deserves a rate.

Let's check my favorite pokemon here: talonflame. You're using talonflame as a support, that's fine and all but it's only attack move is brave bird. That means it would have recoil damage every time you try to attack, even worse if you're taunted. You'll have to switch out because you definitely wouldn't want your only support to faint after a few useless brave birds(it has 0 atk evs investment.) Also, something else to point out, talonflame has good enough speed and it's going to set up tailwind (which gains priority) so you'll definitely want to invest in more bulk to let it survive longer instead of giving it max speed EVs. Back to the brave bird problem, the talonflame will be useless after being taunted, that's why you've got brave bird on it. You should just change it to u-turn. That will allow you to switch while dealing some damage and "de-taunt" it. Enough about talonflame, let's move on to my next favorite bro...

Mega metabross. You mentioned it's there for luring fire type moves for heatran. More likely, it's gonna lure earthquakes for your poor heatran to faint. It's only reliable STAB steel type move is bullet punch. There's a muuuch better user of bullet punch and e can also be a mega and can be used to lure fire types moves for heatran waaay better. Guessed it yet? Yup, it's mega scizor. Wanna hear something even better? He isn't weak to earthquakes and has access to u-turn. Making him a perfect partner for both heatran and talonflame. Talonflame can use u-turn to switch to this guy and he can u-turn again later for more support from talonflame.

Ahh, my all time favorite fairy, Azumarill I used a belly drum set for mine but never mind. I see few problems on this one, except for the fact that both waterfall and aqua jet are in the set. I recommend ice punch insteadof waterfall but it's pretty minor so it's all up to you. Oh, I also suggest that you invest more in it's sepecial bulk and hp Cos, he's gonna bro up defensively with this bro...

Heatran looks fine. Invest more on defense and hp so that he can bro up with azumarill well. Nothing else.

Hydreigon seems good. You don't use him much anyway, let's skip this guy. (If you want, I'll do one for him.)

Yeah, the cute mushroom! Breloom is so cute I decided to give him the last seat. It looks fine but perhaps you could give him more speed EVs because giving this guy bulk with only 104 hp EVs is hopeless.

Ok, I've rated yours, now go rate mine! (Just kidding, I would appreciate it if you will though.)

Talonflame: BB is on there so that I can put on offensive pressure, revenge kill weakened Pokémon, and provide chip damage. The recoil doesn't bother me too much, and it comes in handy even a 0 Atk EVs.

Metagross: I don't use him exclusively to lure Fire attacks, but it's a handy trick to have. He lures in WoW for Heatran to soak up, but so do Azu and Breloom. I would never switch Heatran into a predicted Earthquake. Also, you suggested Mega Scizor. I've done research, and Mega Metagross is the one that wins tournaments. Sciz is just too predictable and, while it offers more power for BP, really takes away Metagross' main selling point for the team, his speed. Another thing: U-Turn/Volt Switch strategies are rarely worth the risk in VGC. You could potentially be switching into two attacks and lose a Pokémon. One U-Turn is fine, but I think if I were to go that route I would use Talon.

Azumarill: Waterfall is a safer option than Aqua Jet when I know I can take a hit and KO back. Ice is handled by Mega Meta, anyways. I also chose not to invest in special bulk because the AV negates the need, and this Azu is offensive.

Heatran: I chose these EVs for a specific reason. If I split them too much then I won't have the SpA to take out Thundurus, or the defence to survive Earthquake. All these sets were chosen for a reason.

Hydreigon: I'm actually searching for a replacement, so it's all good in the hood.

Breloom: Yeah, more speed will be helpful.

Thanks for the rate! I'm gonna leave the team unresolved for now, but if nobody else answers then BA. The suggestions are good, and I see why you made them, but they just don't fit my playstyle. Don't let it get you down though :)
Lol, I knew I sucked at rating teams :D Thanks in advance if you're gonna BA it, all the best for the vgc

Building the Bro Squad

image
I wanted to build a Tailwind team around Breloom. I knew that Spore and Mach Punch would be useful, so there was no way to go wrong with starting with him.

imageimage
I picked Zapdos for my Tailwind setter, giving him a bulky spread. Safety Goggles, Heat Wave and HP Ice let me handle Amoongus.

imageimageenter image description hereenter image description here
Then I decided what Megas to have on my Tailwind team. Mega Mawile had the invaluable Steel/Fairy typing. Mega Gyarados let me check Gengar and acted as my Water coverage.

imageimageenter image description hereenter image description hereimageimage
Next was Hydreigon, who offered powerful LO boosted Draco Meteors and Earth Powers. Scarfed Chandelure was the final addition, absorbing Close Combat and Play Rough for Hydreigon, Breloom and Gyarados.

imageimageenter image description hereenter image description hereimageimage
I asked for advice about the team and I ended up changing Gyarados for Mega Gardevoir and Chandelure for Heatran.

imageenter image description hereenter image description hereimageimageimage
This is the final draft of the Bro Squad. I changed Zapdos to Talonflame, who managed to set up Tailwind better as well as provide WoW support. I was disappointed with the lack of speed on the team so I replaced Mawile with Mega Metagross, and he hasn't let me down. Mega Gardevoir had to go since I didn't like the limitations of two Megas. Azumarill took her place, fulfilling my need of both Fairy coverage and a Water-type.

Threatlist

image
Over the few matches I've played with the Bro Squad, my biggest problem was Thundurus. Metagross can OHKO most variants with Ice Punch, but not before he's been Thunder Waved. Swagger also screws me over, and I almost lost a match because of it.
image
The washing machine is the bane of my whole team. Between Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt and Will-o-Wisp, he threatens the whole team. Breloom can't outspeed anything that runs more than 4 Spe, which is why I'm considering switching him to 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP.
image
Heatran can be threatening if I don't either have my own or Breloom can't KO with Mach Punch. It's even worse when he switches in to Heat Wave or Fire Blast.
image
Sun teams in general are annoying. I've found ways to handle Mega Charizard Y, usually through Heatran's Flash Fire or luring SolarBeam with Azumarill, then switching into a resist. Still, I would like a bit more peace of mind about him.

Replays

I played ten matches with the Bro Squad. Here are the replays and my win-loss ratio.

Battle 1 (1-0)
Battle 2 (2-0)
Battle 3 (3-0)
Battle 4 (copy and pasted wrong link) (4-0)
I faced another Mega Charizard and a Fake Tears Whimsicott.
Battle 5 (forgot to save a replay) (5-0)
All I remember about this match was that Metabro ouspeeds Scarfed Mamoswine under Tailwind.
Battle 6 (6-0)
Battle 7 (7-0)
Battle 8 (7-1)
Battle 9 (7-2)
Battle 10 (7-2)
The timer ran out :( It looked like fun. I don't count this as a win.

Amazing team Astronautical. I especially liked Battle 3.
I should really use dual Protect more often, it's almost riskless and very rewarding.
I've pulled off Triple Protect. Won me the match.

RESOLUTION

Well, the Bro Squad is complete. I have made several changes since I posted this RMT:

~ NEW CHANGE! Earth Power was replaced with Ancient Power on Heatran to check Charizard.

~ Breloom's EV spread has been changed to the tried-and-true 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP.

~ Talonflame's EV spread was changed to 240 HP / 160 SpD / 108 Def, letting him survive 60 SpA Rotom-Wash's Hydro Pump and Thunderbolt, as well as 252 SpA Thundurus-I's Thunderbolt just over 50% of the time. Quick Guard was replaced by Taunt, and he got his Rocky Helmet back.

~ Hydreigon, unfortunately, was given the boot in favour of Gastrodon.

image

Gastro here protects my Fire-types from Water attacks and the whole team from Scald burns. Everything he does is outlined here, the RMT I stole him from (thanks Zorua). Hydreigon may return in the form of Scarfed Hydreigon, but Gastrodon will stay for now.

~ I knocked Superpower off of Azumarill in return for Knock Off after I lost a match to a $#@! Cresselia I would've taken out if I had Knock Off.

~ Metagross has an Adamant nature now. Not planned or anything, but that's what breeding gave me.
