I've made some attempts in the past at an ADV OU team but this is the only one that looks like it could pose a huge threat.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Toxic
- Protect
Best physical wall in the game. Classic stall. Set up spikes, cripple pokemon with toxic, scout with whirlwind and protect while opponents are hurt by poison. Annoying as hell.

Dugtrio @ Choice Band
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Aerial Ace
- Hidden Power Bug
Arena Trap makes Dugtrio arguably the best revenge killer in the game, because grounded Pokemon are prevented from switching out. Defeats pokemon like Raikou and Magneton which counter Skarmory.

Gengar @ Leftovers
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch
- Giga Drain
- Fire Punch
High Speed and Special Attack stats as well as a great movepool make Gengar an excellent all-out attacker. This set sacrifices support moves such as Will-O-Wisp and Hypnosis to gain the widest possible coverage against common Pokemon.

Swampert @ Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpA
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Hydro Pump
- Roar
As opposed to being an offensive threat itself, this set aims to act as a solid utility counter and defensive pivot; it is excellent at forcing switches.

Salamence @ Choice Band
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Hidden Power Flying
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
Standard counters, such as Weezing, Milotic, Swampert, and Claydol, will not be able to withstand the Choice Band-boosted assault nearly as well, and will be 3HKOed in most cases. Fire blast can 2HKO Skarmory and can OHKO some Forretress.

Heracross @ Salac Berry
Ability: Swarm
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Endure
- Swords Dance
- Megahorn
- Reversal
This is the classic comeback set. This is a ticket to an easy sweep if your opponent lacks priority or Tyranitar. After one Swords Dance and a Swarm boost, this can OHKO Gengar, Skarmory, Suicune, and many others thanks to its insane Attack and the incredible Base Power of Reversal.

Well, it looks like a great team to me. Two things I'm not sure of is whether I would fare better with a rapid spin user like Starmie or my Swampert. Also, who would be better as a fighting type: SporePunch Breloom or Reversal Heracross?
Please advise me on that and provide any criticism that you think will make my team better.

@Sumwun choice scarf, specs, life orb, and expert belt aren't in gen 3. Sturdy only prevents 1hko moves from affecting it too.
