Aren't you supposed to ask a ingame team question before breeding/training them?
What if I've had them trained/breeded forever ago, does that negate their option?; and I don't think the battle tree will be that rough. :P
I didn't beat the Battle Tree yet. I'm too lazy to IV breed and EV train. :P
Why would you use Pinsir when Salamence is a thing?
The only basis in Reasoning is that I have a Pinsir(s) ready and I don't have a Salamance ready. If I use salamence, I will avoid using Naganadel and Garchomp as my team will be weak to ice, and therefore need to change my Mega Users :P

Also, I only thought of What I had available and forgot that I could choose Salamence.
But Pinsir is also weak to ice.
Well salamence is more weak to ice.
252 SpA Protean Greninja Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Pinsir-Mega: 144-170 (102.8 - 121.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Protean Greninja Ice Beam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Salamence: 316-376 (184.7 - 219.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
It really makes no difference.

MEGA:

CHARIZARD-MEGA (X) - Out of all your mega options (Alakazam, Abomasnow, Gallade, and Khangaskhan) Mega Charizard X fits best in your team because to me it looks like you’re running Hyper Offense, and this way your team would be pretty balanced in the sense that you have about the same amount of special sweepers and physical sweepers. Gallade is a very close second as an option, but Gallade is more likely to get outsped as it’s setup move is Swords Dance, which doesn’t raise speed. It’s also mandatory that you breed your Charizard until you find a one with max IVs in HP, along with all the stats you listed so you take minimum recoil damage from Flare Blitz and take hits better. As for Roost or Earthquake, I would recommend Earthquake for coverage because Charizard only has decent bulk, and you only invested 4 EVs in defense.

PINSIR-MEGA - Mega Charizard X is definitely a much better physical than this particular Mega Pinsir because your set runs Thrash, which is a terrible idea because if your opponent switched to something that resists Flying you’re screwed. If you aren’t willing to breed for Quick Attack, then use Close Combat instead. As for Thrash, if you don’t have enough friendship for Return, feed it a lot of bitter berries and then teach it Frustration.

Z-User:

NAGANADEL - The main problem I have with your set is that it uses Dragon Pulse with Dragonium Z. If you’re going to run Dragonium Z, give it Draco Meteor instead to nuke things really well.

GARCHOMP/MIMIKYU - So your Garchomp is alright, pretty standard. For Stealth Rock/Crunch, I would go for Stealth Rock because Crunch doesn’t offer much coverage anyways and because you don’t have another hazard setter on your team. (Although Garchomp is more of an offensive Stealth Rock user, not a hazard setter). For Stealth Rock/Stone Edge, I would choose Stone Edge because it hits the flying types that are immune to your STAB Earthquake. Garchomp is unusable with Sand Veil, if you can’t get Rough Skin you might as well release him because he adds nothing to your team ATM. If you do get rid of him, I would suggest Mimikyu instead with the standard smogon set:

Mimikyu @ Mimikyunium Z
Ability: Disguise
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spe/4 SpD
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Shadow Claw
- Play Rough

Regular:

GRENINJA-ASH - Give Greninja the Choice Specs for more damage. The reason why almost nobody runs Scarf or Specs on regular Greninja is because Greninja likes to use a wide variety of moves because they all get STAB from Protean. However, this is not the case for Ash Greninja, so feel free to run Choice Specs. Replace Spikes for Ice Beam if you do decide to run specs.

VOLCORONA - Replace Flamethrower with Fiery Dance for that chance to raise special attack. (Fire Blast is another option) Replace Hurricane with Giga Drain for recovery and coverage. As for your item, I would go with a Focus Sash to gaurantee you get at least one Quiver Dance up.

Conclusion - Is this team good enough to get past 50 trainers in the Battle Tree? Answer: No it is not. Half of Pokémon battling is breeding, sos chaining, etc. If you aren’t willing to do that, and you enter with 4 IV Pokémon with bad abilities, you’re at a serious disadvantage. Please consider looking for perfect IV and ability pokemon on the future.

Philosophy: Breeding, SOS Chaining, etc. is not required to battle. Otherwise, 99% of the world would never have had a pokemon battle.

I could always, you know, change the EVs, because of the poke pelago and my extensive EV lowering berry collection (~300 of each at all times).

While it is suggested in competitive, I could Just Bottle Cap them (as some I have had for a while and are Lv: 100), So I don't see that as the biggest problem here.

Anyways, I agree with removing Pinsir, I will get quick attack on one eventually, just not now. Probably replace it with Salamence/Alakazam/Gallade.

If Charizard Has a max HP IV, it doesn't take less damage, It has a little bit more HP. My Asking Earthquake was not about coverage; It was if I needed a move to rely on that doesn't have recoil over healing, because Fire punch, etc. won't cut it.

Naganadel having Dragon Pulse was so that it can make use of the dragon STAB outside of a Z-move; However, I do see it fit to Replace not Because of the powerful z-move, but that I could use it since Each team consists of 3 pokemon anyways.

I probably use Mimikyu, but Garchomp is not useless in the battle tree with sand veil, because NPCs are stupid at times and weather teams are far more common than they should be (also Mixed weather teams *Facepalms* Stupid NPCs)

I could Give Greninja specs; Life Orb was so I could use spikes because of the lack of movesets with Hazard Removal, there are some, but I seldom see them, but specs work just as well.

I disagree that Volcarona should Have Fiery Dance OR Fire Blast, but I agree on Giga Drain over Hurricane. I forgot it got Giga Drain, and Fire Blast isn't as great in the battle tree; Fiery Dance has 10 less power and a 50% chance of Raising SpA, but I like the Burn chance Far more, and 10 more power is a good bonus. Especially when you have quiver dance. I do like focus sash, but I suggested rocky helmet for punishing physical attackers. I will probably use the sash, though.

Another part of battle whatever (Tree, Subway, etc) training is knowing the pokemon and knowing what you are doing. In the battle whatevers, you want to avoid low accuracy moves like fire blast (I used hurricane because I had rain support from eelektross from regular singles) because you have to use all your moves a lot and hitting or missing could be the basis (and often is) for winning or losing.

I appreciate the effort; I was looking more towards someone with a LOT of battle whatever experience, but this will work just fine. Thanks :P
If you don’t want to breed or sos chain and stuff, try using bottle caps/gold bottle caps
