This is played on the 3DS. Because of this, If like to ask you to

  • Try to only change up to two Pokémon. If you really, really think I should get rid of more, then feel free to. But if possible, try to limit it to 2, because SOS chaining, breeding, EV Training, and leveling up Pokémon is very tedious and boring.

  • Do not suggest Mega Blaziken. I don’t have access to a HA Torchic, so I cannot use Blaziken or Mega Blaziken.

  • When I say my ladder is in the 1400s, it might SOUND good, but on the 3DS you start with 1500, so 1497 (my ladder) is actually horrible

  • Some pokemon are missing, or have too many IVs in the attacking stat they don’t use. For example, my Nihilego DOES NOT have 0 Attack IVs, because I didn’t feel like Soft Resetting For a Timid Hidden Power Ice 0 Attack IV Nihilego. If you think that the missing IVs are really important, please explain why and provide damage calculations.

  • I’m using Moon, not Ultra Moon. So I can’t use Naganadel, Zeraora, Blacephelon, Stakatacool, Dusk Lycanroc, Mimikyunium Z, etc.

Please, please help me. My ladder recently fell into the 1400s. If it dips into the 1300s, I may or may not kill myself. Probably the first one.

I used Weavile because it checks Landorus-T and Garchomp. I used Nidoking because it has access to Fire Blast and Earth Power. Also, an accurate Poison move can come in handy. Gunk Shot On Greninja has very shaky accuracy.
swords dance is a bit redundant on kartana. replace it with psycho cut for fighting type coverage.

is that a fire blast i see on that nidoking? hm, i guess you have good luck with rng. if not, i recommend thunderbolt.

icicle crash gets the same treatment as fire blast. ice punch is just better.
@Twineedle Greninja checks Landorus and Garchomp better. And why would you need poison attacks when you have Kartana for checking fairies? Aside from that, Landorus's advantages far outweigh its lack of fire blast.
@eseer In BSS, Pokemon that Kartana can't one-shot are more common than fighting types, so swords dance is still better than psycho cut.
@Someone Because Nidoking has far more coverage than Kartana, so I usually lead him, and I don’t want to waste a turn switching to Kartana.

@eseer1337 Swords Dance is mostly just for Celesteela, which is basically hell on earth for Kartana. Unfortunately, most Celesteelas these days carry Flamethrower.
Landorus is so much stronger than Nidoking (especially with intimidate) that you don't need coverage to use it.
