The main problem is that most Pokemon in this format are strong enough to make Forretress, Galvantula, and Mew useless.

No they're not. Any Groudon or Rayquaza can one-shot them.

Then they will 2HKO your Pokemon and defog away all the entry hazards you were able to set. If the opponent gets stealth rock onto your side, then your focus sash and sturdy become useless.
