I use it often... I either wreck my opponents to the moon and back or I get decimated. It's almost never inbetween. Can somebody tell me why? I'm new to this stuff...

What are the format and natures?
sumwun, I'm in Doubles Ubers format, and I have no natures.
If you're on Showdown!, then you can use whatever natures you want. If you're not on Showdown!, then I don't know how to help you get good natures.

If you want an honest opinion, this team is really bad: but that's more or less to be expected if you're new. If you're at the bottom of the ladder and still losing lots of games (as you imply), there's a clear problem. These are some things that will be useful to you long-term:

  • Specify the format you're playing with so others know how to rate your team. This is important, as every game mode has a 'meta', which is a term for all the strategies and Pokemon that work well in the format. For example, if this is Ubers, avoid using Mew. If this is AG, then fit Mega Rayquaza somewhere, as it is overpowered.

  • You're missing natures, which are effectively 10% boosts to a stat of your choosing. Take care to avoid neutral natures; they're never a good idea.

  • Don't arrange your EVs like this, as it's highly suboptimal. In a majority of cases, you will want to max your two most important stats (i.e. 252 EVs) and leave the others alone, apart from the 4 EVs left spare (252 x 2 is only 504/508 effective EVs). It is almost never a good idea to invest in more than three different stats. Use Smogon for an idea of what stats to invest in.

  • The Plate items aren't very good as their effects are too minimal, and resticted to one type. At the very least you should definitely not be using five. The majority of offensive Pokemon will use Life Orb or a Choice item.

  • Learn some basic team archetypes (e.g. offence, balance, stall and their variants). What you have here is just a team of six Pokemon with attacking moves.

  • Never use two damaging moves of the same type. Dazzling Gleam + Moonblast and Aqua Tail + Hydro Pump are both wasting a moveslot. In very rare cases you may break this rule, but the moves must vary a lot in their effects for this to be a good idea (e.g. Freeze-Dry + a primary Ice STAB sometimes works).

  • Don't go mixed (i.e. both physical and special attacks) unless you know what you're doing, or you stole a set from a good source, generally Smogon.

  • Your coverage moves are strange. There are exceptions to everything, but in general avoid spending coverage moveslots on Steel, Normal, Flying, Bug, Ghost, Dragon or Psychic moves, as these are outclassed offensive typings. They're all fine as primary STAB if necessary (google if STAB is a foreign term to you). When you are choosing coverage, think of what extra threats it allows you to hit, and whether your Pokemon is fit to fight them at all (e.g. don't run Poison coverage on Dragon Pokemon; the best play is to switch against Fairy).

  • A list of moves you used on your team that are never good choices for competitive: Snarl, Hypnosis (usually), Dream Eater, Telekinesis and Roar of Time. Avoid Swagger unless your Pokemon has Prankster (i.e. Klefki).

Thank you for all that, I'll change all that for my next team and hopefully I'll do better. Also, is there anyway for you to answer the fact that I destroy half my opponents and get destroyed by the other? That is where I'm mostly confused. I'm in Doubles Ubers format, so I'll avoid Mew. Maybe I should try doubles OU, the Pokémon there suit me easier, like Mew, Kyurem Black, etc. STAB is not a foreign term to me, stands for same type attack bonus. Another question I have is should I or could I incorporate Extreme Evoboost?
This is why I emphasised the format so much: my assumption here was that you were playing singles, so that is the basis of some of the advice here. Choices like Mew make much more sense in doubles than singles, so you may disregard that advice. I know less about doubles than singles, but I can answer the questions you have.
You haven't mentioned what part of the ladder you are placed in with this team, but one-sided games are characteristic of the lower ladder, as my assumption goes you're currently playing in. You will match with people there who know far better than you do, but also people who have never touched competitive Pokemon before. You will find it occurs less once you start gaining ladder points. I do feel the half-half model you've mentioned is slightly exaggerated, but regardless, you should not concern yourself much over low ladder games and their results. There is a lot going on there that does not occur in the average doubles ubers game -- just focus on improving your own teambuilding and gameplay and you will stop losing as many low elo games.
Evoboost is viewed as a gimmick. It is viable in the sense it can win games, but it also exposes your win condition and game plan on team preview. I don't recommend becoming reliant on a cheese strat to climb the ladder: but playing a Baton Pass team may help you practise planning ahead, and using a very deliberate team structure. Just don't expect people to fall for it long-term.
