Pokémon Rate My Team

Hey! this is my first question here and I was wondering if I could get some advice on my team. Despite the fact that I have to play in Ubers due to the M- Salamence, I like to think of my team as a balanced OU team, with some decent bulk and offensive power. Thanks for the advice in advance!

Salamence (M) @ Salamencite
Ability: Aerilate
EV's 252 Atk/4 Sp Def/252 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Double Edge
-Roost
-Earthquake

Salamence is the mega of the team, and is what I like to call one of my assassins. Thanks to high attack, speed and Aerliate, he can OHKO bulky pokemon and glass cannons and can switch in to moves that do half damage
(e.g water, fire, grass type moves) and set up with Dragon Dance to sweep as well as recover with Roost,

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EV's 252 Atk7 4 Sp D/ 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
Thunder Punch
Fire Punch
Mach Punch
U-Turn

Infernape is another assassin with the job to punch holes in the enemies defences- literally with its ability Iron fist. It can outspeed a couple water type threats and OHKO them with Thunder Punch, or U-Turn into Gastrodon. Mach Punch and Fire Punch are STAB and get the 1.2x boost to pack an extra punch.

Gastrodon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EV's 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Sp Atk
Bold Nature
-Scald
-Clear Smog
-Recover
-Earth Power

Gastrodon is the water type of my team, and its excellent bulk and immunity to electric and water type moves thanks to Storm Drain mean this pokemon is the excellent switch in for Infernape or Skarmory. Its great bulk means this pokemon can also wall against water types like Greninja and Tapu Fini and can punish switch ins with Scald, and damage with Earth Power for a strong STAB move and Recover for well, recovery. Clear smog can also be used to stop sweepers and baton pass in its track.

Whimsicott (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EV's 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Sp Atk
Bold Nature
-Leech Seed
-Protect
-Encore
-Moonblast

Whimsicott is an underrated Grass/Fairy type with average stats and a good movepool. The main reason I use it is because of its decent physical bulk and its ability Prankster. When used properly, Whimsicott can set up in the face of pokemon that easily rip it to pieces by locking pokemon into moves such as Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, etc with Encore. This can either force switch out, or simply lead to them slowly crippling away by health with Leech Seed. Moonblast is STAB and covers the Dark types that are immune to all prankster attacks.

Skarmory (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EV's 252 HP/ 232 Def/ 24 Sp Def
Impish Nature
-Stealth Rock
-Roost
-Iron Head
-Defog

Skarmory is my Stealth Rocker, and I normally start with it unless against a M-Sabelye or Deoxys Defense. It's main role is to Stealth rock and Defog hazards of the opponent, but thanks to its outstanding defense and defensive typing, it can wall against multiple types including grass, bug, fighting, water and flying. Iron head is chosen instead of Brave Bird as I already have a hard hitting Flying type, so the steel type move can cover other pokemon that the flying type cant, and Roost is there for recovery.

Tyranitar (M) @ Quick Claw
Ability: Sand Stream
EV's 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 Sp Def
Adamant Nature
-Taunt
-Stone Edge
-Earthquake
-Pursuit

Finally, Tyranitar. He is my second option as starting pokemon, mainly to wall hazard setters with Taunt or simply test the opposing teams defensive capabilities. Apart from using Tyranitar as a Taunter, he is really there to pack a punch with STAB Stone Edge and base power 100 Earthquake. Pursuit is to deal double damage on any Ghost or Psychic types that try to escape his grasp.

Do you really want to win battles? If yes, either replace Salamence with Pinsir and play in OU, or replace everything except Salamence with stronger Pokemon, such as Groudon, dark Arceus, or Ferrothorn.
Tyranitar seems to be a bulky spread so I suggest replacing Quick Claw with Leftovers for some recovery.

You definitely should replace Salamence with Pinsir and then play in OU. I have the perfect moveset for a Mega Pinsir, so here you go...
Pinsir @ Pinsirite
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Atk 252 Spe 4 HP
-Return
-Earthquake
-Quick Attack
-Swords Dance
The rest of your team is fine so enjoy yourself in OU :)
