Pokémon Rate My Team

Okay, so here's the thing. This is the first time I am actually trying to build a somewhat competitive team. I don't do tourneys or anything like that, so Tiers don't matter that much to me. I just want to beat some friends in the best way possible. Can anyone please advice me on a sixth member? Or at least any advice on these five and on competitive team building. I have no idea what I am doing lol. Thanks!

What kind of format will you be playing with your friend? Singles? Doubles? Smogon rules? 3v3, 4v4, or 6v6?

Ok. Let’s start.
You dragapult looks fine, probably the best set you can have on a physical dragapult.

Your Dracovish NEEDS a choice scarf. Even with jolly and 252 Speed EVs, it won’t outspeed much, therefore not getting double Fishious Rend damage. Give it a choice scarf so it can outspeed most things.

Your Ferrothorn should drop Thunder Wave, because you will never outspeed anything with that speed. I would replace it with Gyro Ball, because it is so darn slow, and Gyro Ball gets STAB. You could even replace Knock Off with Curse if you want more defense to be even more evil to physical Pokémon, more attack for Gyro Ball, and less speed for Gyro Ball.

Toxtricity looks good to me, mabye sludge wave over sludge bomb if you want, though it’s not a big difference

And finally, Grimmsnarl looks good.

Hope this helps!

I put T-Wave on Ferrothorn because I always send him out first to set up SR and TW. TW helps Dracovish outspeed anything, or at least that was my thinking. Anyways, thanks!

Dragapult
I wouldn't recommend sucker punch because it outspeed almost every pokemon as long as it isn't scarfed. But, if you still want dark coverage go for bite because a set up move (EX: swords dance) on a sucker punch could completely sweep your team. But, in my opinion substitute would be better for switch outs.
Dracovish
I would recommend choice scarf but that's more preference. Also, look out for fairy switch ins since your locked into outrage.
Ferrothorn
I would get rid of thunder wave and knock off for power whip and gyro ball for stab.
Toxtricity
Seems pretty good.
Grimmsnarl
You could run dual screens on this.
Volcarona
It would be a bulky special sweeper. Being able to tank a rock type attack and quiver dancing. I also added acrobatics so it has double the power when the berry is eaten.

Volcarona @ Charti Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpA
Bold Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Acrobatics
- Flamethrower
- Giga Drain

Huh. Didn't think about this. Thanks!
I'm really not sure about this advice.
* Sucker Punch can hit opposing Dragapult, but I agree it's not that worthwhile. However, Bite is an even worse option. Playing Sucker Punch improperly does not make Bite a good move.
* Ferrothorn doesn't need both STABs to function (and you're also missing Body Press as a viable option). I wouldn't be as quick to dismiss Thunder Wave and Knock Off, either; they give real consequences for Pokemon trying to switch into Ferrothorn, which is important if OP is playing 6v6.
* Not running speed on Volcarona means it's outsped by a pretty wide array of notable threats, even at +1. Bulky Volcarona can work, but I think this is too adventurous.
* Base 110 power on Acrobatics is undone handily by Volcarona's very low attack stat. Running mixed also creates a conflict of interests with your nature, no matter which one you choose. If you want Flying coverage, then you need to use Hurricane.
