Yveltal @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Roost
- Defog
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Leftovers
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Morning Sun
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Sunsteel Strike

Eternatus @ Black Sludge
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 240 HP / 252 SpD / 16 Spe
Timid Nature
- Toxic
- Recover
- Flamethrower
- Dynamax Cannon

These first three are basically the 'big three', so to speak, of gen eight ubers. When I compared my team to the sample teams posted on smogon, literally every single one had this trio and its not hard to see why when you play the tier a few times. The sets are not always the same but the mons are

Yveltal is almost mandatory because it can do nearly everything and prevents you from autolosing to Calyrex. That is the only thing I know about this tier so I put it on the team with what is probably the most anti Calyrex spread of them all. I just went with u turn because I love that move but this thing has a moveslot syndrome that's almost as bad as Hydreigon's

Necrozma is pretty much the same story as Yveltal except it is against Xerneas. I just put twave on it to slow down opposing Yveltals and Eternatus for the sake of Kyogre. It's also the stealth rocker and has a good defensive typing in genreal but Xerneas was the real deal. It renders the reindeer near useless

Finally is Eternatus. I only picked it because one, I needed a Kyogre answer, and two, it has toxic spikes so having an absorber for it is very nice. It's also very fast for a defensive pokemon and can use dynamax cannon to weaken the water spout

Kyogre @ Choice Specs
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunder
- Ice Beam
- Water Spout
- Origin Pulse

For this one, I still needed a breaker. What better breaker than the lord of the seas itself. Just a garden variety Kyogre that spams one move and somehow profits from it

Calyrex-Shadow @ Choice Scarf
Ability: As One (Spectrier)
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Trick
- Psyshock
- Grass Knot
- Astral Barrage

I still needed a cleaner for the team and scarf Calyrex fit that role perfectly. I didn't want anything fancy and scarfrex seemed to be the most straightforward choice so I chose it. I went with modest because I want the power and I'm not gonna risk a speed tie against opposing scarfrex. That's what Yveltal is for

Groudon @ Leftovers
Ability: Drought
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Thunder Wave
- Swords Dance
- Precipice Blades

Finally, I wanted a way to reliably get rid of Eternatus. The team doesn't really have a way of doing just that so I put in Groudon. I switch up leftovers for lum berry because toxic from Yveltal is so annoying but the set remains the same. I went with bulky sd set since I don't really want this to outspeed anything. Thunder wave is again, just to help Kyogre because there's really no other move to fit in

I've found sash Caly quite useful due to its poor bulk. You can also consider running Draining Kiss to take care of all the Dark, Dragon and Fighting types running around Ubers. Also KOes Urshifu.
Also, are you sure you want to run 3 defensive mons?
Well, not like there is much choice. I don't want to get drowned by opposing Kyogres, I don't want to lose to a bloody reindeer and I don't want a certain horse to do what I do which is click one move = profit

Draining kiss actually does nothing to Yveltal. That's why I love that spread and I barely click defog on this team so that sash doesn't really matter that much and with Kyogre, I pretty much have a guaranteed free switch to a Necrozma trying to put up rocks
This team is a standard balance and is mostly fine, but I would go with Heavy-Duty Boots > Black Sludge on Eternatus to deal with Sticky Webs. The Calyrex-S could be Timid to speed tie with other Calyrex-S after a Webs though it's up to preference. I think this team lacks a good physical defensive core, which means stuff like Zekrom, Groudon, Zygarde can easily tear this team. Calyrex-S can deal with these and can justify, but physical Yveltal, a common set can nuke this team easily as it can't be revenge killed with Calyrex-S.
Bruh, my table is already cracked from playing this game. I'm not gonna risk completely breaking it over a speed tie

Although you do make some good points. So far, I've been using Kyogre to revenge kill Groudon or switching to Yveltal on the precipice miss before uturning out

Zygarde isn't really a big issue for me since after an sd, Groudon mindrapes it and that thing is the mvp of my team and is somehow more reliable than Kyogre drowning everything in sight while Zekrom can be revenge killed by Calyrex or destroyed by Groudon if it is at high health

You do have a point on Eternatus. Webs are really annoying in this game and I just forfeit whenver I run into those because Yveltal has a very insane moveslot syndrome. I'll have to try this some time though just to see how it would fare
I forgot one thing btw, Calyrex-Shadow under Webs runs Modest Nature so going Timid for outspeeding it isn't really that bad idea. Secondly, ignore the Zekrom weakness tbh there's a Groudon I forgot lol.

And yh while offensive xyg isn't that threatening, defensive ones can really annoy a heck especially the Thousand Waves trapper that carries Haze and Toxic, so nothing is really going on that without risking getting trapped especially if Kyogre is weakened. Might also go Aromatherapy over Grass Knot though, since Tyranitar is uncommon and big fish already gets 2HKOed by Astral.
I guess that makes sense. Is webs really that common in ubers? I don't really run into them that offen

Is that actually a thing on Zygarde?
Webs are often common in high ladder, and I see them often around 1500~ ELO range. Waves trapper Zygarde is a thing, but as you know how good real teams are compared to Ladder teams you can get it around.

Tl;dr if you don't see them on ladder then it's fine. But you can find those things in good teams, like tours, etc. etc.
Well, I guess I'm fine since I don't run into them. I usually just end up running into two or three of the big three of ubers, assuming of course I don't play against someone using a retarded team. Although I could replace uturn with taunt on Yveltal to improve webs matchup

Tours you mean the smogon tournaments or something like that?
