So my friend asked me to make him a competitive team using mega Slowbro so here is what I made up using Showdown.
Slowbro(M)@Slowbroite
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Regenerator
Evs: 32 hp, 2 def, 32 sp def
-Iron defense
-Body press
-protect
-Scald
So here is the star. Slowbro is very slow, especially while in mega form. Slowbro has an atrocious defense stat while mega soby using body press and trick room, I can have a sweeper. If playing two passively, I can set up iron defense for more damage and scald if they bring a physicaly tanky Pokemon
Farigiraf(M)@ Focus Sash
Nature:Sassy
Ability: Armor Tail
Evs:32 hp, 2 sp atk, 32 sp def
- Trick room
-Protect
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
So here is our trick room setter. Farigiraf is probably the best trick room setter in the format due to Armor tail, preventing priority moves. Psychic is there for damage and Thunderbolt for flying type coverage to deal with Talonflame and Staraptor.

So here is a support Pokemon who is just good for trick room teams in general. It will be our second trick room setter in case we don’t bring Farigiraf. Rage powder to redirect and Matcha Gotcha for burn. Hospitality is used to heal up my attacking Pokemon or support Pokemon that are in a pinch.
Politoed(F)@ Damp Rock
Nature:Calm
Ability: Drizzle
Evs: 32 hp, 32 sp def, 2 sp atk
-Encore
-Protect
-Muddy Water
-Perish Song
This is my own Politoed but with some few changes like the damp rock. My friend wanted rain as well and I find Politoed best fitting due to it being a trick room team. Encore is just a great support move and can keep attackers on protect.
Sneaseler(F)@ White Herb
Ability:Pressure
Nature:Jolly
Evs: 2 hp, 32 atk, 32 speed
- Dire Claw
- Close Combat
- protect
- Fake out
The team was lacking priority so I put in Sneaseler. Fake out is very good against many Pokemon and Sneaseler is a great sweeper. This guy is here in case something wrong happens with trick room.
Rotom Wash@Leftovers
Nature:Timid
Ability: Levitate
Evs: 32 hp, 32 atk, 2 speed
- Thunder
-Hydro pump
- Protect
- Light screen
Our final guy. This here washing machine is support and offense. This guy can set up light screen and thunder away in the rain. Yet without rain, this guy is basically a coin flip, do or die.
