Pokémon Rate My Team

Welcome to the RMT
Ok so i started this team last night hoping to battle 3 leaders the next day, i finished the team a few hours ago and managed to battle one.
The team was a sucess in the battle winning with ease against a fellow leader so i decided the synergy was good and the team was generally good so why shouldnt i try laddering.
20 minuets in and i was already at 1176 in 8 battles, winning all 8.
Im not stopping here as ive been beeting most people with slight ease but for now im taking a break, i may update this as i ladder up as 1176 isnt exactly impressive.

Building the team in a nutshell
The idea of the team while building was that i wanted to go all out offencive just with a sableye in the team.
I dont like the all out offencive teams as they take not much skill to make but i had seen how effective they were in Ubers but i started having synergy problems where i couldnt switch in on pokemon like Heracross safely my only counter was Chandelure so eventually i added a stealth rock supporter in change for a cobalion and a meinshao because it could safely clean up almost any pokemon.
My team was now less offencive and can preform well thanks to the support pokemon and im starting to really grow on this team and i hope you like it.

The Team

Raikou @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Rash Nature (+SAtk, -SDef)
- Thunderbolt
- Aura Sphere
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Volt Switch
This guys speed is just perfect to outspeed the common Flygon by very little even when using modest.
Basicly he is my revenge killer but i use him as the lead as a stall breaker or sash breaker.
Volt Switch gives me the ability to preform volt turn as well as Ohko any threat that abuses speed boost such as Sharpedo and Yamega thanks to the mighty scarf.
He can preform a late game sweep when the game is nearly done though he is countered easly as Raikou never has or will be a very hard hitter, this can lead to being taken out by the attacks it should resist as Raikous ground weakness isnt idea though thanks to Bronzong i can completly wall Shaymin from killing my oh so important chandelure.
The whole set is rather explanitary or even you could say standard.
I have always found Raikou a great pokemon and i will use it in most of my Ou teams and Uu teams it just has such a diverse movepool and is like Scafty, Underated.

Sableye (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 242 Def / 16 Spd
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Will-O-Wisp
- Night Shade
- Recover
- Taunt
I think this guy is on around 60% of all my teams :D
I use it not just in Uu but Ou and even helped one of my Uber rain teams hit 1345.
He provides so much support as well as being danm right annoying which i love and i try to make my teams annoying, this may be by using bum bait or just using great synergy that is hard to predict, thats why my teams suceed, well most.
Building a team like the noob is boring, planning a team requires skill and then the pression to pull off a win despite how strong the team members are.
OK anyway so this guy gets rid of herracross and Flygon afterall they are both scarfed in the modern metagame so guts is unlikely on any pokemon so i can abuse this for so many pokemon like Machamp and Heracross for example.
Taunt well taunts.... But the 16 speed alows me to outspeed the opposing sableye who tend to run no more than 8 speed.
Night Shade is just in case of taunt and the fact i dont like Punishment as i seem to be finding boosting less common in Uu appart from the occasional shell smash or swords dance.
Most pokemon can abuse their ability to do the job for them.
Hes also a spin Blocker.

Mienshao (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Hi Jump Kick
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
If your a good competative batteler you may find yourself switching at least every 2 turns and this guy is your worst enemy if thats the case.
After rocks damage and possible previous battle damage a fake out that will take off a possible 25% is the last thing you want.
The damage this guy can deal is massive and he is great for taking out pokemon like Azelf and Slowbro.
Pair this guy with my Raikou and i have a nice offencive volt turn core capable of taking down the strongest of walls.
This guy pairs up very usefull against pokemon such as Mesperit and Mew who will go to any messures to support there team, without the support the sweep is easy.
Hi Jump Kick is risky in Uu with about 10% of pokemon (guessed prediction) carry protect as stall is easy to preform by a single pokemon.
Though fake out should at least give me some support.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 84 Atk / 80 Def / 92 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
Toxic and Stealth Rock support not much else to be said.
As stated above he can preform great synergy with Chandy absorbing earth type attacks then loosing its fire weakness to a pokemon that will get a boost from it.
Gyro ball will deal with all shell smash users such as Gorbyess as well as hitting Frosslass and Areodactyl hard.
Earthquake is my second attack and that will provide good general coverage and though wont hit hard it will slowly wear at the opponents.

Chandelure (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Overheat
- Fire Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
I never liked this guy the sheer power of it is insane but the speed is as good as giving it no speed.
I hate it as it lets it outspeed nothing relevent but this set which use max SAtk and Specs now alows me to hit almost anything for half for an example i recently took 62% off a Houndoom with a Shadow Ball.
Now if that Houndoom didnt have Flash Fire Fire Blast could be a possible ko and thats crazy.
Energy ball will take out Swampert though its rarely used i seem to be finding Swampert moving towards Ru ;'( because its almost never used in my experience.
Shadow Ball and Fire Blast is all i need Overheat is my last resort and i think its a rather safe option for a desperate last minuet game winner.
Unfortunatly not using max speed alows apposing shandelures to outspeed me but they can be delt with by Sharpedo.

Sharpedo (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Waterfall
- Protect
- Earthquake
Finally my last pokemon and it only took me well over an hour and a few dead fingers.
Ok so i used this guy well in Ru in the past and hes always been fun to use ingame so i decided i'd try him out and he is great.
He counters so much including the Nido family which are nusences in Uu
Set up is very easy and after one or two speed boosts he's something to be scared of such strong stab attacks paired with its massive atk stat and life orb is to be feared of.
Appart from that this is standard set and he should be Uu if he hasnt been moved up already he is one if not the best IMO late game sweepers from Ou down.
Speed boost is such a deadly ability and with added hazard support which this guy loves he will hit teams head on like a truck.

Rash on Raikou. You have Aura Sphere. Lemme edit.
You do realise switching your sharpedo in on a shadow ball will still probably KO after entry hazards?
That's why I have sableye keeping hazards away.
Also it will likely depend on the set for an example a scarf will likely not kill it.
Blob I think your the only person I know who actually talks about Rankings on PO.

Note:On many servers not 100% about main ones but they say that Rankings don't do anything.

xD Don't take it to offence if your not offended.
Tbf abnormal no one cares that you don't care about my rank ;)
My rank is just one way to show off the team and show its how good it is for people who haven't battled it.
Tbf? It's fine if no one cares about my statements :D Like you said your rank ("is just one way to show off the team and show its how good it is for people who haven't battled it.") Just my opinion which I am entitled to.

Note:I never said I don't care about your rank,Which I don't #Just Saying.

With things like Mienshao, Hitmontop, Arcanine, Ambipom, Bisharp, Sableye, priority coming up from RU/possibly NU, and anything that can take a hit from Sharpedo (not all too hard to do actually) and then hit back for the KO, Sharpedo has some problems. While it is the definition of sweeper, it has absolutely no bulk, being the frailest thing in UU.

I would suggest replacing it for a Swampert. It adds some bulk to your team as well as some protection against Arcanine, a Pokemon who it seems could cause serious trouble for your team (as could Darmanitan and Victini by relationship, although Arcanine is more dangerous thanks to Extremespeed) Their strong neutral hits devestate. Raikou is the best at dealing with these guys it seems (besides Sharpedo) and it hates those hits, forcing it to revenge kill, something I never like when I need to counter a Pokemon. Sableye doesn't have the ability to Will-o-wisp these Fire types, so Flare Blitz/V-Create devestates. Mienshao doesn't have the bulk either, Bronzong is of course taken down, and Arcanine 2HKOs Chandelure with Wild Charge and Darmanitan has Earthquake/Rock Slide to KO it.

Swampert provides the bulk and typing to be able to combat these Fire types completely. Teamed with Pokemon like Chandelure and Bronzong who are able to handle Grass, as well as one of my signature Mirror Coat Swampert, you'll be able to handle these foes much better.

Swampert (F) @ Rindo Berry
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
- Ice Punch
- Mirror Coat

The above Swampert is only KOd by Roserade's Leaf Storm (well, only common kill, Exeggutor Leaf Storm also works, but yeah.) Anything not backed by STAB (particularly Chandelure) gets KOd by Mirror Coat. This is a nice last ditch effort in case you can't risk the switch.

Other than that, just add 4 EVs to Mienshao and you should be good to go.

Sharpedo works great for me, Ko'ing Nidokings and Darmanitans......
