Say hello to my first RU team. I have no idea if this team works well or not, but I watched Josh's vid and decided to try one out. I'm tired, so the descriptions get worse as I go :/

Yeah yeah, it's a Smogon tiered team, even though I hate them all with a passion :P

Centipede (Scolipede) (F) @ Leftovers

Trait: Poison Point

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

  • Substitute
  • Swords Dance
  • Megahorn
  • Poison Jab

Scolipede is my faithful lead. Substitute gets me some set up. Protects me for attacks. Swords Dance boosts my attack, allowing me to hit the other RU guys hard. Megahorn is awesome STAB. With Swords boost, not much gets away. Poison Jab is STAB as well. Swords boost with poison chance is really nice.

Poison Point is so obvious. Leftovers gets some decent recovery, Scoli needs it. EVs get sweeping skillz, plus SDance boost. Nature boosts needed Def.

Tourniquet (Rhydon) (M) @ Eviolite

Trait: Rock Head

EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SAtk

Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)

  • Rock Blast
  • Curse
  • Double-Edge
  • Earthquake

Attempt at bulky sweeper. Rock Blast is STAB plus one of the best multi-hit moves. Curse is a nice stat boost. He has a pathetic speed stat anyways. Double-Edge is huge BP plus recoil cancel. Earthquake is STAB + coverage.

Rock Head cancels the recoil, using it for one move. Lol. Eviolite boosts defense. Bawsin. EVs give it a good bulk set, combined with curse. Nature throws out worthless speed, and boosts attack.

Fire Hive (Typhlosion) (F) @ Choice Specs

Trait: Flash Fire

EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 SDef / 4 Spd

Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

  • Eruption
  • Hidden Power [Grass]
  • Flamethrower
  • Focus Blast

Not sure about this guy's role, lol. Eruption is one of Typhlosion's strongest moves. Not many live through it. Me wants. Hidden Power [Grass] covers all his weaknesses. Sweetness. Flamethrower is a strong STAB. Focus Blast covers a few types, and is the unexpected.

Flash Fire can boost with switch-ins. Choice Specs helps so much, I hit KOs fast. EVs are a bit random, could use help with those. Nature helps get some KOs eaiser.

Internet Friends (Galvantula) (F) @ Life Orb

Trait: Compoundeyes

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

  • Thunder
  • Bug Buzz
  • Energy Ball
  • Volt Switch

Thunder. I know, I know. "Thunder suckz witout teh rainyz!!1!" Yeah, Compoundeyes fixes that. 91 acc? Hell yes. Bug Buzz is ran on most Galvantula for a reason. Energy Ball is coverage. A pretty awesome move. Volt Switch scouts, gets a switch to Flash Fire.

Life Orb allows Galvantula to sweep. Compoundeyes boost accuracy, especially on Thunder. EVs you should understand by now. Nature special sweeps.

DestroyThemWithLazers (Metang) @ Life Orb

Trait: Clear Body

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

  • Bullet Punch
  • Ice Punch
  • Meteor Mash
  • ThunderPunch

Bawstang Jr. Bullet Punch is STAB + Priority. A favorited move in the game. Ice Punch is some coverage. Meteor Mash is STAB plus some good power. ThunderPunch puts a mini Bolt-Beam but with punches.

Life Orb lets me sweep. (Notice a pattern here? :P) Clear Body is obviously the better ability, and it is a good one. EVs are a bit repetitive, I have another sweeper here. Nature puts in more sweep.

Rage Valley (Slowking) (F) @ Leftovers

Trait: Regenerator

EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef

Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)

  • Slack Off
  • Toxic
  • Scald
  • Psychic

Finally, some defense! Slack Off is some reliable recovery. Toxic is some stalling! Yeah! Scald gives a burn chance, STAB, and decent power. Psychic is STAB.

Leftovers also puts in recovery. Regenerator recovers more in switch-ins. EVs go into WALL. And 4 attacking. Nature also throws in Def, I have no regular Atk moves anyways.

Woah. A Smogon team? xD
This team isn't RU, actually. It's DW because Typhlosion.
Why do you have SAtk EVs on Rhydon?
Ninja theyre all related because I'm going to use the all in a sentence. Tourniquet go to that centipede your Internet friends with outside the fire hive in the rage valley and destroythemwithlasers. Now give me my up votes, I gave you a correct answer.
Wut? No, you weren't even close.

Scoilipede:

Lead Scoilipede? Nice. But your missing something on this team...hazards. I'm going to suggest a hazard Scoilipede to help you nail KOs easier.

Scoilipede (M) @ Black Sludge

Trait: Swarm
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Spikes
  • Toxic Spikes
  • Megahorn
  • Earthquake

I almost never see Black Sludge on this guy anymore. Shame that some people forget Poison types should use Black Sludge over Leftovers. Black Sludge gives some recovery to Scoilipede, as you know. If a Rotom or Rotom-C or any other Pokemon in RU that uses Trick on you, they'll get a damaging Black Sludge instead of a healing Leftovers! Spikes helps land KOs, taking 1/4 of the opponent's HP with every switch in, assuming you have 3 layers up. Toxic Spikes poisons the opponent, making it harder for Clerics like Lanturn and Misdreavus to clean up the team. Megahorn is STAB, and it cleans off weak Rapid Spinners and Psychic types. Earthquake hits Fire types and Poison types that absorb this guy's Toxic Spikes.

Rhydon:

Okay, why do you have Special Attack EVs? xD Rock Head is a great ability abuser, but I personally thing turning this guy into a tank would be nice.

Rhydon (F) @ Eviolite

Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 84 SDef / 84 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

  • Stealth Rock
  • Rock Blast
  • Earthquake
  • Megahorn

Here's that bulky sweeper of yours. 373 HP, 394 Atk, 414 Def, and 222 SDef. Not bad. Watch out for Water and Grass types. Eviolite makes this guys into a defensive boss. EVs give maximum Attacking power, HP and SDef EVs for bulk, and Speed Evs to outspeed certain threats. Stealth Rock sets up more Hazards, and hits Pokemon like Moltres, Typhlosion, Scyther, and other Pokemon. Rock Blast is STAB that breaks to Substitutes, which is pretty nice. Earthquake is STAB and completes the EdgeQuake combo, with Rock Blast instead of Stone Edge. Megahorn nails Grass types wishing to switch in, and ruins the Slowking and Tangrowth Regenerator combo.

Typhlosion:

EVs should be 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd with Timid (+Spd, -Atk). Fire Blast over Flamethrower should work well for the power. It should have Blaze, since Flash Fire hasn't been released.

Galvantula:

Keeping Galvantula is not an option here. Keeping him will give you too many Fire weaknesses. Also, you have a huge Ground weakness in the team, and not one Pokemon to resist it. What I'm going to suggest over Galvantula is...

Rotom @ Life Orb

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Shadow Ball
  • Thunderbolt
  • Substitute
  • Pain Split

This patches up your Ground weakness with an immunity, and fighting immunity to help your Rhydon, while keeping Electric coverage. Rotom also blocks Rapid Spin, which helps with a team that packs all 3 hazards.
>Rotom has pretty low HP so Pain Split can be easily abused. The idea is to use Pain Split and Substitute to lower your opponent's HP and then finish it off with one of the Life Orb boosted STAB moves. Life Orb helps land KOs easily, and also helps with Pain Split. Thunderbolt and Shadow Ball are both STAB that hit unresisted throughout the entire tier, besides Magneton. Substitute is to lower your HP for efficient SubSplitting, and Pain Split lowers your opponent's HP while healing you, in most cases.

Metang

Metang seems a bit off on this team. If you want a Physical sweeper, go with...

Sceptile (F) @ Flying Gem

Trait: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Swords Dance
  • Leaf Blade
  • Drain Punch
  • Acrobatics

A nice physical sweeper with a Ground resistance, which is nice. Swords Dance boosts Sceptile's average attack to sky high levels. Leaf Blade is your primary STAB. Drain Punch is coverage and heals Sceptile. Acrobatics uses the Flying Gem, activating Sceptile's Unburden, doubling it's Speed.

Slowking:

EVs should be 248 HP / 144 Def / 116 SDef and Thunder Wave over Toxic. Poisoning is covered by Scoilipede's Toxic Spikes.

Good thing Trick users can't trick back the Black Sludge to something else.
lol, didn't think of that.
Go sceptile.
