Wall for MonkeyBusiness (page 16)

Hey, i've had a few questions and concerns generally about your question-closing habits recently. I just want to make sure; you do check that the information is on the site when you close posts for that reason, right?
I'll also like to mention, not all old rulebreaking posts need to be closed, posts on meta that are dupes are allowed, and generally posts that lack context don't need to be taken down right away.
Not all the examples I mentioned may be from you, but i just thought i'd mention those as i've noticed them generally recently.
you're doing a good job so far! just be careful when closing in regards to that first point

You still didn't fix Horse encounters for Bellsprout.

It depends on the Pokemon. Some Outbreaks appear waaaay more often than others, but some outbreaks are still pretty rare, even if you reset them with a sandwich active.

You see, in S/V, some outbreaks are likely to appear depending on your location. For example, if you're in the desert, the chance of you getting, say, a Capsakid or Little outbreak in that area is higher. Pair this with a sandwich (I'm not sure if the sandwich has to be encounter power specifically or if it can be anything else) of a specific type, for example, a Steel encounter sandwich, and the chances of getting an orthworm outbreak is higher.

Like I said, some outbreaks are rarer than others, so if you go to a place where Vaporeon can spawn and use a water encounter sandwich, it may take a couple outbreak resets, but you should eventually get a Vaporeon outbreak to appear. But then, there are others mons like Leafeon, who will take a long time for an outbreak to appear for it, but it will eventually show up.

And in case you're curious, resetting your outbreaks is really easy, you just need to press the home button, go to settings, system, Date and Time, Date and Time again, and just press OK. It's quite simple, you don't have to actually change your time, and you can do this without having to close the game. You can also keep the map open to see the outbreaks changing, so you don't have to close and open it every time. Plus, when you go to the home screen, the timer for your sandwich pauses, so resetting outbreaks takes seconds of in-game time, and leaves you with plenty of time to hunt after you get the desired outbreak.

No problem, thanks. I'll look for the specific locations to make sure my info is accurate.

Ah, I see. Sparkling Power doesn't have as high odds as catch combos, but it's the ability to see and quickly despawn a bunch of Pokemon at once that makes shiny hunts quick.

In the case of Dragonair, it can't specifically be isolated. I know some Pokemon can be isolated in certain versions, like Dratini in Scarlet (Drakloak and Dreepy appear in Violet), but that seems kinda inefficient for the list.

Also, I don't think the location guide is updated because it's still showing Muk can be found in the wild, and I have NOT seen a single wild Muk.

Here are some Pokemon that you can pretty much isolate in S/V:
•Pikachu appears in an area outside of Artazon
•Raichu appears in Socarrat trail. Jolteon also appears there, but VERY rarely, so you'll mostly be seeing Raichu.
•Grimer appears in the beach area on the left side of left side of the right side of Levincia (don't know how to word that better).
•Magnemute can be isolated with a steel sandwich in one of the east provinces (I don't have S/V's map with me rn)
•Voltorb can be found in that desert like area.
*Electrode can't be isolated, but it can appear in outbreaks, so much more efficient than soft resets
•Chansey can be found in the area around the Fairy Team Star base, I'm pretty sure there's no other normal types besides the very rare Blissey.

I could be forgetting some, since I haven't hunted all the Kanto mons in S/V yet.

Side notes: While Jolteon CAN be isolated, Vaporeon NEEDS to be done in an outbreak, because of the sheer amount of other water types, plus Vaporeon is a rare spawn. Flareon doesn't *need* an outbreak, but Scovillain is also a frequent spawn with the Fire sandwich.
Also, you said Bellsprout can be found in Horse encounters. I haven't played XY myself, but I would love to see someone encounter a Bellsprout appearing to battle on a horse, swinging around a vine lasso.

Are you including Sparkling Power Sandwiches and Outbreaks from Scarlet and Violet? Sparkling Power is quite literally broken, and some Pokemon can be isolated, and in S/V, outbreaks are easy to manipulate using Sparking Power Sandwiches and resetting the outbreaks. Of course, I see the flaws of this, since the game could possibly be patched so that you can't reset outbreaks easily, but even still, Sparkling Power is OP.

Additionally, how good is the Catch Combo Method? I don't have LGPE so I'm unfamiliar with how good the odds are.
