I know, I thought the asker was asking about the actual game, not NatDex format.

Regice has an advantage and a place in NU despite being among the unused Pokémon garbage in ZU.
Product Gen 8 SS NUMBER + Charge Beam
Regis @ Remainder
Grade: Cleanliness
EV: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Sp. The 1999 s.c
the nature of humility
Jan:0 Parish
- exchange
- Charging beam
- ice radio
- Focus explosion
Regice has an extended ice form and high special quality, and can use Pokemon like Vileplume and Stakataka in SS NU. This is a replacement + charge bundle system. This set won both battles for NU SCL. This switch is used to protect this and use the power of the Regice switch. Charge Robbery is used for attacks that have a 50% chance of activating your special attack, allowing Regis to bypass the switch. Charge Ray is also useful because Vaporeon is rare. Ice Beam, along with Charge Beam, provides an excellent defense for most Pokémon of this type. Focus Blast allows Regis to play steel icons like Stakataka, Copperajah and Galarian Stunfisk quite well. Lightning Strike can be used instead of Charge Beam for a more powerful blow, but it will cause Regis to lose his Charge Beam attack. The leftovers are used as supplies to Regis for HP regeneration, which is useful because it is replaced in this category.

Gen 9 Monotype Choice Scarf/Belt + Drawing Skills (Combat)
Galead @ Choose a Scarf / Choose a Band
Skills: Honesty
Terrain Type: Battle
EV: 252 ATK / 4 SPD / 252 Sp
Happy attitude
- Holy Sword
- Brainwashing
- Night attacks
- You steal the shadow
In Gen 9 Monotype, grab Galad's scarf/armband and the new Battlegroup skills. In Generation 9, Galad gains a new ability called Sharpness, which increases Galad's slashing moves by 1.5x. This ability is basically a selection bar for cutting out activities. This Galad set has 3 cutting effects that bring a sharp edge: Holy Sword, Psycho Cut and Night Slash.
In Gen 9, Galaad gains access to his sharpened holy sword. This means that STAB + Sharp Holy Sword is stronger than STAB Close Combat. Psycho is a Psychic STAB enhanced by Cut Sharpness. The sharpness-enhanced Night Slash is used to deal very effective damage against most types of ghouls in the meta. If you use the Shadow Sneak Selection Sling, Gaillard can be used to counter to kill weaker Pokemon that cannot be reached with the Selection Sling. The Choice Sash allows Galad to act as an Avenger Assassin and help take down the Ghost, while the Choice Band can turn Galad into a powerful wall breaker.
Since I've already posted a few sets in the Gen 9 Monotype format, I'll mention it because of how similar they are to the monotypes used in the Gen 9 Monotype format:
Terra is a permanent change after monotyping, so it's tied to your team type.

Re moveset release: In my opinion it's fair game as soon as the games release, especially for Pokemon that immediately come to prominence in formats like OU. Usually it's very obvious what the best strategies for those Pokemon will be. Threads for those should be pushed out ASAP, while others can be paced. But that's just my opinion.
Re monotype sets: Personally, I would decide whether the Tera Type is likely to cause confusion and explain if I think it will. Maybe it's not necessary because everybody who plays monotype knows why you've done it like that, but maybe it is necessary if you'd never use that type in any other context. I don't want to prescribe any one solution -- just weigh the factors in your mind.
