Wall for Gau (page 123)

Signer Dragon* non-plural, my bad lol. My brain is super disconnected recently for some reason.

With all Arc-V's faults, I still think Yuya is a really solid protagonist and Declan is a really solid Anti-Hero, plus they took a risk with the whole Yuya ending twist which paid off in the long-run despite my favourite card from that twist (Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom) being banned in the physical card game nowadays.

Funny enough, my favourite Signer Dragons from 5D's is banned too, that being Ancient Fairy Dragon but in the anime context I think AFD was a really solid character and helped out Luna to become an even better character during the Dark Signer arc.

XD

Iberian peninsula sure is an amazing place. I like the beaches there. And then we have Iberian peninsula, which has the amazing skyscrapers I can stare at for hours. On a scale of Iberian peninsula to Iberian peninsula, how much would you rate Iberian peninsula?

As a follow-up, I don't think Arc-V is bad. I just think arcs like the Synchro arc and the ending really let it down. GX isn't bad if you treat it as an abridged series but it like 5DS lost a whole season due to Western censorship but the lost seasons are definitely worth a watch online if you get the chance.

Oh, sorry for the late response, Giru this'll be a lengthy one.

It's easily a tie between 5DS and Vrains, because unlike GX or Arc-V they haven't been dialed back for the western audience and really have a nicely fleshed out story because of it. Yusei is a grittier, older protagonist but he can be light-hearted and amusing plus the supporting cast like Jack Atlas his rival and Crow who is the Joey equivalent all get a really cool redemption arc each overcoming their weaknesses in a natural and believable way plus the signer dragons and their evolutions are really cool too.

Same with Vrains, Playmaker/Yusaku really evolves from start to finish in a satisfying way and they really gave it their all with the duels in Vrains. The final duel is 6 episodes long and nothing ever really feels like "Heart of the cards out of nowhere" thing for example. The other main characters like Soulburner who is Vrains' Joey equivalent and Varis who is the Seto Kaiba equivalent have really well thought out duels which show off some really iconic modern monsters like Borreload Savage Dragon or Salamangreat Heatleo, (spoilers but Varis and Soulburner's final duel before the end of Vrains is easily one of, if not the best anime duel imo)
