Actually, Alice’s adventures in Wonderland is a classic book but there is a Disney movie . It’s kinda  nonsensical.  An example of what’s different Is to enter the league you need five ribbons and Jim battles or more light contests the challenger does a performance then the leader  and the referee judges. To ve to be a  coordinator tou beed eight badges and the contests are pike mini  tournament ,

First person or third? That’s mostly personal prference. Just do what feels right. If it’s gonna be like. Diary then “i and my” are best but if not then “he she” etc is best.

I can try and advise
One is it a Pokemon FF?
Two if so and it’s your first i’d  stick to a basic storyline but don’t be anothef GAME-FREAK that is try to personalize it a bit don’t simply recreate something that’s already happened. Like you cpuld have your main char be a  coordinator  Or performer if you want em to be a gym vhallenger that’s okay i could aldo see one where the character has a different starter (like Ash but not Ash)  a fun idea would beclike Ash’s son/daughter  theres a lot you can do!
If it’s not Pokemon well then i’d just say be creative as possible as long as it makes a little sense (ibsay that but my newest odea is a Combo of  Alice’s adventures in Wonderland  And Pokemon XD) now for writting tips hmm well i almost always do my story’s summary and a couple OCs  for me that’s eaiser but maybe you chane your character during a story not plan em out. Sometimes it’s even eaiser to “work backwards” like id you know the ending wrote it first then do the rest that gets you tobthat poont.

I don’t know if this is the right kind of advice you want abd TBH i’m glad you like my FFs but i don’t know how “fantastic” they are. Hope i helped and i’m happy to help as you write it.
