Pros: 1. Has competitive knowledge, can therefore be a tutor for other, less experienced trainers.
2. Has vast experience with demigods and wizards, can talk to them without issue.
3. Can coerce enemies into giving up their most powerful Pokemon with collection of weak shinies.
4. Can intimidate enemies with collection of strong shinies.
5. Good storyteller, can write of our adventures. (sticking to the truth or sensationalizing to start a fun rumor about us)
Cons: 1. May be too enthralled in a book to listen to orders\
So. All in all, I think I'd be pretty good at this.

Never read 'em. Personally, I don't care to. The more people blather about them, the less I seem to care. Not sure why, maybe because they seem to be popular, and in my mind, popular = bad 90% of the time. Maybe it's my rebellious phase.
