Then a tribute performed a spell reverting to centuries before, summoning the old king of Hawaii, who claimed Hawaiian independence, not wanting to be part of a more ridiculous nation. The federal government plainly rejected this and executed the king.

It would be disgusting to call such an abomination a poem... I think it was supposed to be a parody of a nursery rhyme though I forget which one
