Do Dodrio and Dodrio get hit by Ground type moves??

Do doduo get hit by ground moves? I know they are flying types but doduo cant fly and dodrio

They won't get hit by moves. It goes by the types/ability not by the sprites. For instance, gengar is not affected by ground type moves thanks to levitate, but his feet clearly touch the ground. If doduo were to use the move roost, then it would be open to ground moves.

Also note that Doduo and Dodrio can Fly somehow. They learn the move Fly. In the Pokmon TV series, back in Johto, Ash was facing Faulkner. Faulkner had a Dodrio that used Fly, which looked like it was floating in air.
