Can a Ditto breed another Ditto?

Question

Does one need to be male and the other female or can they breed with the same gender?
If yes, can you do it on all the games or only in some of them?

Ditto can't hatch from eggs. 2 Dittos cannot breed with each other.

Ditto **Can**Breed with any pokemon,but not it`s self.With the exeption of undiscovered pokes.

Unfortunately, no. The only way to get ditto is catch them.
