Gts bad nickname glitch?

Question

i was looking for a weavile (almost every wanted reshiram or zekrom 9 and under)
and a tediursa with the nickname of weavile counted as weavile
how did that happen

It has happened it me, no glitch but apparently the game counts Pokemon nickname as another Pokemon as the nickname. Like so Teddi was nicknamed Weavile it would count as Weavile.

I've seen that with a Deoxes instead of a Garchomp.
