My Pokemons doesnt obtain xp?

Why does my oshawott does not obtain xp? I just started to play Pokemon white... Please help!

Are you even battling with your Oshawott in the tall grass or against trainers? If you aren't, then your Pokemon will not get experience points.

(And I know it can't be that you are WiFi battling or in the Battle Subway because you said you "just started playing white".)

Nevermind, I saw many people with the same problem at youtube. Its because I am playing white in emulator, the guy said its an anti piracy thing that you will not obtain xp after battle. I guess I will have to buy the game for my Ds then...

If you're not walking in the tall grass or battling trainers,you won't earn experience points.You'll earn more happiness for your Pokemon.If you battle trainers and wild Pokemon and win,you'll earn experience points since your oshawott is not level 100 yet.However if you keep doing this and not earning any experience points,this is most certainly a glitch.
