Does all the training to evolve eevee into umbreon/espeon have to be at night/day?

I've been training my eevee during the day to build happiness. It's now night time and I'm not sure if all the training has to be at night for it to evolve into umbreon, or if as long as it reaches max happiness at night it will evolve. Can someone help me out?

No, it doesn't matter when the majority of the training took place. If it reaches max happiness at night, it will become Umbreon. If it reaches max happiness at day, it will become Espeon.
When the training takes place have no importance.
