Due to Magnetmite's excellent SpA and good bulk, it can play the role of a bulky offensive pivot well. Magnet Rise takes out it's ground weakness for a couple turns. Flash Cannon gives stab. Volt Switch is used to get out in unfavourable positions, while HP Fire can be used to kill the steel types that Magnet Pull traps or Thunderbolt for a STAB electric attack which doesn't force switching

Scarf Magnemite :D Volt Switch is great on a scarf, Thunderbolt/Flash Cannon for STAB, Hidden Power fire to beat Steel or HP Grass can be used to beat ground types I suppose
