All of the Pokemon in the game return to their set location if you defeat the Elite Four after running from a battle/defeating the Pokemon, except for Mewtwo, who can be found in Cerulean Cave (all Pokemon visible outside battle). Some trainers (such as Red) also become available for re-battling after defeating them again, and as an addition, the second time you fight them, the member's Pokemons' Levels increase
