Would this strategy work?

Question

I have a level 100 Typhlosion if I find a lucky egg on a Chansey and I give it to my Typhlosion and have a Pokémon I want to train hold an Exp.share and go train at Mt. silver cave will all exp. gained be boosted and given to the Pokémon in training?

Okay, the answer is no - the Exp. Share won't get a fair share of a Lucky Egg EXP boost.

When the Lucky Egg is put into the equation, the lead Pokemon gets 75%, whilst the Exp. Share Pokemon only gets 25%. So, it would still get roughly the same.
