Why can't I find banette in Pokemon village?

Some of my friends told me that banette appear in Pokemon village in thursdays in one of the trash cans and I can't find banette please help me with this problem ;c

Try looking at night. Haven't tried this myself, but a Ghost Pokemon appearing during the night seems logical to me.

I'm not 100% sure about the specifics, but l can confirm you do find Banette in the trash cans.
They will rustle, and they'll either be a Banette, other Pokemon, or a pokemon that dashes off leaving an item behind, I guess its all about the luck and what you get in those trash.

On Serebii's page on Banette they list its location as "Pokemon Village (Thursdays)" and the method as "special". So maybe it is only found in rubbish bins on Thursday? I got my Banette from the GTS, so I'm not 100% sure of this, but it sounds likely, from what Serebii have on their site.
