Why does Durant have truant?

So Durant's hidden ability is truant? why? it doesn't seem like that lazy of a Pokemon, and none of its Pokedex entries mention it being lazy at all. Is there some kind of strategy with truant for Durant?

Two theories:

1. Truant is meant to contrast with Hustle, which is another ability Durant can have. There are supposed to be active ants and lazy ants in the colony.
2. It enables the Truant + Entrainment gimmick, where you can give your opponent's Pokemon Truant.

also after i asked the question i realized they both ended in ant. probably just a coincidence
