How should I ev train my Armaldo?

Question

He has adamant nature with a defense personality

Should I go Attack&Speed or Attack&Defense?

If there is a better way to train him please tell me.

Yeah, I'd invest in HP, since Armaldo already has great Defense. Investing more in it actually won't make a big difference.

I'd go like this:

252 Attack
252 HP
4 Defense / Speed

This makes your Armaldo into a tank, which means he can used as more than just a Stealth Rock Lead. You can switch him in, use his excellent STAB moves, and probably KO a couple Pokemon.

His base speed is too low to waste EVs on, so I'd go Attack and Defense,

252 Attack
100 Defense
156 Special Defense
4 HP
Or something along those lines, you could invest more EVs in HP.
