Does the delivery girl in the Pokemon centre leave when the event ends if you haven't received the Pokemon yet?

For example lets say at the start of Pokemon x and y I got the torchic event. Then lets say I forgot all about it and stop playing x and y until the event ends.

If I came to the Pokemon centre, would the delivery girl that would give you the torchic still be there, or would she leave.

It doesn't matter what time you get the event. As long as you don't get it, she will just stand there like she has no life. It's just that if you don't receive the event, the next few will go to the wonder card or will not be obtainable.
