Cloyster @Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 Attack
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- ???

I use my Cloyster in my UU team and some Steel types are so annoying! What move should I use for dealing with Pokemon that resist to Icicle Spear and Rock Blast?
Is there any move better than Razor Shell, Scald, Surf? If not, what is the best water-move to use? (I can give 252 EVs Sp.Attack)

Also the move must be legal in Showdown! Some moves aren't legit and say ''they are not compatible''.

Razor Shell

That is what I use, anyway, it is STAB, and hits the Pokémon that resist his other attacks, some people use Ice Shard to counter priority users, but it does not cover Ice and Rock.
Empoleon still completely walls it though.

Hydro Pump
Just checked Cloysters page, most steel types have high Def so I would recommend this over Razor Shell
Edit : Here's a decent set which works for me
Cloyster @ Leftovers
Ability : Overcoat
Nature : Relaxed
Ev's : 252 Def / 252 Hp / 4 SpAtt
• Hydro Pump / Surf
• Ice Beam
• Status Move (preferably Thunder Wave to counter speed loss)
• Substitute
Substitute, then T-Wave and sweep them steels
Hope I Helped

Hydro Pump has a very low %. But great base power. +1
That's actually a horrible set for Clyster barring The two moves ice beam and Hydro Pump. Clyster is either a Spikes Stacker set which utilizes Focus Sash, an anti-lead set which carries Rapid Spin, or the Shell Smash set which can be used with Hydro Pump, but not in the way you use it which does virtually nothing for any good synergetic team. Sorry if that's harsh, but in no way is your set viable.
