Will Poison Powder and Leech Seed hit Shedinja?

Question

I was paralyzed while battling a Vileplume and it tried to use Poison Powder so did I dodge a bullet or are status moves still affected by Wonder Guard.

Just an addition to V-Man's answer, He is correct that shedinja can be affected by status moves and super effective moves.

But he forgot one thing.

You said you were paralyzed, so therefore you cannot be poisoned. You can only be affected by 1 status condition at a time. Status conditions are frozen, burned, paralyzed, poisoned and sleeping. (confused, infatuated etc. don't count)

Wonder guard protects only blocks any move not super effective against shedinja so status moves like poison powder and leech seed still hit shedinja
