Weird False Swipe thing..?

This isn't much of a pressing question.
Anyway, in White 2 I had my Sneasel learn TM False Swipe and TM Toxic. In battle, however, False Swipe was at 5 PP out of 40, despite the fact I hadn't used it at all... Has anyone else experienced this? What is it?

That happens whenever you use an attack TM on a Pokemon. It's to prevent the player from spamming TMs to have infinite PP. So just take your Sneasel to a Pokemon Center and he'll be fine.

I thought it occurred when replacing a move that didn't have max PP (say I have Shadow Ball, 14/15 PP, then replace with TM02 Dragon Claw, and thus Dragon Claw hasn't got full PP). That's what's happened to me from experience, anyway.
