Can an impish dusclops work?

Sure. Dusclops isn't really meant to be a tank anyway, it functions better as a wall, so just eviolite it and give a spread like:

252 Def/252 Spdef or HP/4 Other

And give it:

• Toxic/Will-o-Wisp
• Confuse Ray
• Protect
• And then perhaps Hex as an "in between protects" damage dealer.

And there yah go.
