I'm not sure who to pick; Altaria, Dragonite, or Sylveon. I've never used Altaria , but I have used Dragonite and Sylveon. I have all three of them with their Hidden Abilities. Altaria (Cloud Nine), Sylveon (Pixilate) and Dragonite (Multiscale). I also want to try out a Mega Altaria (cause it's fluffy like cotton candy). Each time I defeat the Elite Four once or twice, I like to create a new team. Sylveon was used in my previous Elite Four party, and just wrecked Drake with Moonblast. Here's my current team:

Gallade (M) @ Galladite
Ability: Steadfast
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpA
Mild Nature
- Draining Kiss
- Calm Mind
- Close Combat
- Psychic

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Slash
- Flare Blitz
- Flamethrower
- Fly

Serperior
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Leaf Blade
- Wring Out
- Giga Drain

Altaria @ Altarianite
Ability: Cloud Nine
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Dragon Pulse
- Perish Song
- Ice Beam

Feraligatr
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpA
Naughty Nature
- Crunch
- Blizzard
- Slash
- Surf

Flareon
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpA
Lonely Nature
- Bite
- Flare Blitz
- Lava Plume
- Swift

Yep, I know. Too many Megas. And two fire types. I like using Eeveelutions on my team. Also I might put Leftovers on someone.

This is in-game rite? so 3 megas aren't much of a concern.
Altaria's normal ability is usually better than it's hidden ability.
Yeah in-game.
But in ORAS you can actually have HA Sylveon+Hyper voice.
I'd say if you're want a challenge, go with Dragonite, if you want it to be easy, Altaria, and if you just wanna sweep through the League, Sylveon.
Altaria is more of a Sp. Def than offenseive, and while sylveon is a good dragon nerf, a dragonite would wipe her out with a good Iron tail, I agree with twig7211 on dragonite.  :3
Converted this to a comment since it wasn't very detailed. Also, Mega Altaria is much more useful with an offensive set. Earthquake and Return get near-perfect coverage (to the point where are a Dragon move isn't necessary), and Dragon Dance turns it into a deadly bulky sweeper. While bulky sets are alright, it's definitely more well known for its offensive prowess. And Dragonite never uses Iron Tail, the standard set is Dragon move + Fire move + Extreme Speed + Dragon Dance.
Good to know
The real problem is that of all the Eeveelutions, you choose Flareon.

I have to say this..... I've never used any of them but Sylveon is in my eyes broken as Xerneas, with Pixilate Sylveon gets a crazy 225 Hyper Beam base power now I could say the same about Explosion but... that kills you so yeah (and Sylveon doesn't get it.) I know, I know I didn't mention the other 2 and this wasn't very detailed, and I didn't give you a full move-set but I'm not that good at this stuff.

Hope I helped (and this doesn't get turned into a comment) -PikaPi 3.14
