Breeding Hidden Ability Eevee?

I have a hidden ability eevee and I'm breeding it to get more but I keep getting run away and adaptability. What am I doin wrong

In Generation VI, this was changed so that male and genderless Pokémon have the chance to pass down their Hidden Ability only when bred with Ditto

If your Eevee is female you should be able to breed with anything to get the hidden ability (However it is still quite rare.)
But if your Eevee is male is has to be bred with Ditto.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
