If you release Latios/Latias will you be able to soar?

You won't have them, does that mean you won't be able to soar?

Even if you release them, put them in poke bank, trade them, or put them in your box, you CAN still soar. I have no idea how this logic works, but it does. I guess game freak either didn't put in that code or wanted you to soar (because it's awesome (my opinion)). Also this.
