Is it possible to get rid/destroy the event ribbon that my mew has?

I saw a trade on GTS that if I give the dude mew he gives me lvl100 shiny arceus with life orb and says that is knows judgment extreme speed and 2 other moves but I've received notice that it has a "Special Ribbon" and connote be traded is it possible to get rid of it?

Its impossible to trade Pokemon with a Special/Premier Ribbon.

Pokémon with a Classic Ribbon or Premier Ribbon cannot be traded on the GTS, making event Pokémon even more difficult to obtain as they frequently come with such Ribbons attached.
