Is there a way to change the text speed on PMD: GTI?

Is there an option to change the text speed in PMD: GTI? Im at the beginning of the game so if there is an option that unlocks that allows you to change the text speed later in the game please tell me about it.

No, there isnt

The only thing you can do is to hold down B, to make text transitions slightly faster. Other options are not given.

Holding B doesn't make the text go that much faster though, if it does make it go faster at all...
