Are the music themes in Pokemon games based off something?

Question

Listening to Ho-Ohs and Zinnias theme. I noticed that Ho-ohs sounded very tribal and Zinnias felt based off the appearance of M-Salamence and M-Rayqwayqway .

Do Gamefreak just come up with these themes are they based upon something?

Specifically: Zinnias, Ho-ohs, Xerneas/Yveltal, Reds/Lances, Reshiram/Zekrom.

Also sorry about spelling. I'm using a phone with tiny letters :)

No, it doesn't. If you read the question it's asking about musical themes, not geographical themes.

I just think that these themes are somewhat randomly selected... other than some of the highly specific ones, like for one pokemon or one trainer. But even there, they don't serve much purpose than to sound cool. No real references as far as I know.

I think that it sort of suggests emotions like reshiram music in oras makes me feel excited like
omg RESHIRAM!!!

but seriously its supposed to inspire emotions in you like excitement or puzzlement or sadness I think
