I was wondering this because I was making a team for the pikachu cup. I was wondering if you use Eerie Impulse on a target with Volt Absorb/Lightning Rod/Motor Drive, does it affect them or will it be absorbed?

Volt Absorb and Lightning Rod both activated on Eerie Impulse, as seen in the replay above. The move's effects were also cancelled out. Since Motor Drive works in a similar fashion as the other two abilities, it is safe to assume it would do the same.
